“The Box” would definitely need to overcome vote-splitting with “Rockstar,” which got just as much love from the Grammys and general public. If “Rockstar” was not in this category, it would have been a cakewalk for “The Box.”

Maybe its just because i’m not personally in love with the song but I never saw what was so special about Rockstar. And i know “special” is subjective but The Box is a REALLY Kick ass song and I feel its going to get some love here.

I think even if “The Box” loses here, it will still take Rap Song over the others.

I think they’ll give Rap Song to Megan. I can’t imagine her not winning in ONE of the rap fields. Rap Performance will go to The Bigger Picture

I think she’ll take performance and Roddy will take song.

I’m totally devastated. There’s absolutely no excuse for this. We had everything we needed to make it to next year’s Champions League and we failed. We are Liverpool and qualifying to the competition is the bare minimum. I am sorry but it’s too soon for an uplifting or optimistic post. We let you and ourselves down.

    Final Rap predictions

    • Rap Performance:  Savage, Megan Thee Stallion feat. Beyoncé
    • Melodic Rap Performance: Lockdown, Anderson .Paak
    • Rap Song: The Box (Roddy Ricch)
    • Rap Album: King’s Disease, Nas

I have Lil Baby as a runner up in his categories. Alfredo or A Written Testimony could upset King’s Disease but I don’t think they will. Anderson tied with Kendrick two years ago and won two Grammys a year ago. It’s clear he has enough support to win his only Rap nomination. I see The Box winning because it’s the biggest hit nominated and it’s also in SOTY which helps.

Honey, “The Bigger Picture” is NOT winning either of its categories.
