Not only is Life Is Good the biggest song nominated, it’s by far the most viewed with over 1B views. I think it’s being underestimated.

ReplyCopy URLNovember 26, 2020 at 3:48 am #1203874476I have Anderson Paak. vs Beyonce. This one is a tough choice. I might have to go with Beyonce because that last time both artists ended up competing with against each other, Beyonce won. And considering that she might lose in all of the GF categories, This could be one of the few nominations they might want to reward her.

Talented?
ReplyCopy URLNovember 26, 2020 at 9:04 am #1203875151Blue Ivy isn’t credited, according to the website. Neither are SAINt JHN or WizKid for that matter.
You’re right. Only Beyoncé is credited. This is similar to how Q-Tip wasn’t credited for “Got ‘Til It’s Gone” and Trina and Ludacris weren’t credited for “One Minute Man.” I wonder how they make that determination.
Anyway, I think Beyoncé’s got this. She is the leading nominee, and she has that supporting Music Film nomination. She won’t win in the general field, so her consolation prizes will be R&B Song, R&B Performance, Music Video and one of the Rap categories, perhaps Rap Performance.
This will be the year when the biggest video nominated won’t win. So, “Life Is Good” won’t win it. There has to be passion for it to win in a way “Humble.,” “Bad Romance,” “This Is America” and “Formation” had.
ReplyCopy URLNovember 26, 2020 at 9:21 am #1203875190Get real! “Life Is Good” is NOT being underestimated. It has no chance in hell of winning.
ReplyCopy URLNovember 26, 2020 at 2:33 pm #1203875868Yeah, Life is Good isn’t winning. This category usually consists of 1-2 mainstream songs at best and Life is Good and Adore You represent those type of songs. However, Brown Skin Girl is artsy and has a meaningful message to it, so I think it’s easily the winner here.
ReplyCopy URLNovember 26, 2020 at 4:21 pm #1203876103LIG is dead last in my predictions. It got in based on the popularity & views. But a win? I doubt it.
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 3, 2021 at 12:58 pm #1203960071Now that Blue Ivy is credited as a Grammy nominated artist featured on “Brown Skin Girl”, I don’t think Beyonce will be winning this award anymore. I can’t see the Recording Academy members wanting to award an 8 year old girl a Grammy Award… its kind of a slap in the face to all them and the artists who work their whole lives to earn a Grammy nomination, let alone a win.
I think one of the Dave Meyers directed music videos will win. He is a 2-time Grammy winner, has never lost and is nominated twice this year in the category.
I’ll predict “Adore You” to win for now.
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 3, 2021 at 1:31 pm #1203960119I think Bey has this but I wouldn’t underestimate Harry here.

Taylor Swift- AOTY, SOTY, Pop Duo/Group Performance, Pop Vocal Album
Phoebe Bridgers- BNA, Rock Song, Rock Performance, Alternative Album
Dua Lipa- ROTY, Pop Solo Performance
Chloe x Halle- Traditional R&B Performance, R&B Song, Progressive R&B Album
January 3, 2021 at 1:32 pm #1203960121Meyers was nominated for directing “One Minute Man” by Missy Elliot in 2002 and the winner in this category was “Weapon of Choice” by Fatboy Slim with the video directed by Spike Jonze.
I could see one of the Meyers directed videos winning, don’t know which one though.
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 3, 2021 at 3:44 pm #1203960315Blue Ivy is finally credited. Lol I still think BSG wins.
I think it’s lame that SAINt JHN isn’t credited still.
Could the upset be Anderson.Paak? I just feel like we shouldn’t underestimate him anywhere after that “Bubblin” win.
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 3, 2021 at 3:54 pm #1203960342Honey, voters will NOT give a shit that Blue Ivy Carter is credited. “Brown Skin Girl” is winning. They have a hard-on for Beyoncé.
Watch out for Anderson .Paak. Voters like him.
