<p style=”text-align: left;”> Anyone but Harry styles. That song was an abomination and he doesn’t even try to hide his radio payola. But in all probability, it’s either dua or billie.</p>
FYI: Payola doesn’t last for half a year.

ReplyCopy URLNovember 26, 2020 at 3:20 am #1203874443I have Say So by Doja Cat winning this one. They really liked Say So, enough to nominate it in another category that wouldn’t cause as much of a backlash if the were to nominate it in SOTY. Out of all of the tracks nominated here, Say So is by far the most vocally impressive and versatile one out of the bunch. It’s really the only category that Doja could win and after what happened with Truth Hurts (A Pop/Rap Song) winning last year over Bad Guy, I wouldn’t be surprised if Doja could take this one home. If Megan wins BNA, This will be the only award Doja wins for the song that won’t involve her producer for this track as well.
And I understand that Say So didn’t get a SOTY Nom. Not because the song was a terribly written track, its actually lyrically quite good, But we all know why the song didn’t get in…

there’s a big difference, you’re mentioning the artist with the most nominations that night, including the 4 main

6. YummyNovember 26, 2020 at 8:18 am #1203875038“Everything I Wanted” is winning. I feel as though there’s some residual love for Billie. All she needed was that nomination. It also helps that she scored ROTY and SOTY nods.
“Don’t Start Now” is competitive. Dua Lipa is also up for ROTY and SOTY, and she will probably campaign hard. I just don’t feel as good about the final round for her as I did about the nomination round. We’ll see.

Taylor wins if she sweeps
ReplyCopy URLFYC:
Taylor Swift- AOTY, SOTY, Pop Duo/Group Performance, Pop Vocal Album
Phoebe Bridgers- BNA, Rock Song, Rock Performance, Alternative Album
Dua Lipa- ROTY, Pop Solo Performance
Chloe x Halle- Traditional R&B Performance, R&B Song, Progressive R&B Album
November 26, 2020 at 1:18 pm #1203875754I think DSN is the front-runner while cardigan is clearly in second place along with everything I wanted. I think it’s Dua’s to lose. It is a pure pop smash hit that I think has ROTY and this category nearly bagged. But I could see a Truth Hurts/bad guy scenario where Dua wins this category but Taylor ends up winning SOTY because of cardigan’s cross-genre support.

I don’t think Lizzo’s nominations mattered. If you compare Truth Hurts to Bad Guy, Truth Hurts is more vocally impressive.

6. I refuse to acknowledge that this is a Grammy nominated songThe top 3 all have a really good shot at winning. Duas probably gonna be on every available talk show for the next month, so that could propel her to the win. They also may love Folklore and just give Cardigan the win in all its categories. It’s really closeeeee
