I lowkey love how gucci knows exactly how to piss people off and rants intentionally to make people upset lol
ReplyCopy URLDecember 2, 2020 at 2:44 pm #1203890338People may be underestimating Taylor here. I think Dua is still the clear frontrunner but Taylor has a realistic chance of winning. Obviously If she wins this she has to sweep everything else for folklore but I think that could actually happen. Broad support with pop voters, may get some support from alt/country/folk and other niche genre voters. folklore has mass appeal, something none of the other pop nominations have. And if Taylor has that broad support it’ll bleed into the genre categories.
ReplyCopy URLDecember 2, 2020 at 3:49 pm #1203890441why DSN has 0 votes?
The poll isn’t working for me. I tried to vote for Dua like 20 times and nothing happens.
ReplyCopy URLDecember 2, 2020 at 6:10 pm #1203890670Probably because we can’t vote. I tried 3 times and it doesn’t work
Exactly. It wouldn’t let me vote either.

ReplyCopy URLDecember 2, 2020 at 10:13 pm #1203890927This is Dua vs Harry.
Watermelon Sugar was the biggest ROTY bait of the year. It failed to make it here. It is gonna fail to win here. Dua v Taylor (leans Dua.) But it seems like you literally can’t stand seeing Taylor have somewhat good odds so I will take this with a grain of salt.
ReplyCopy URLDecember 2, 2020 at 10:29 pm #1203890945There’s no song that has won Pop Solo without a ROTY nomination, unless it wasn’t submitted there. Watermelon Sugar CAN win because it wasn’t submitted in ROTY, but it was an actual hit with longevity. Otherwise this is going without a doubt to Dua, unless swifties are predicting that Taylor can “pull a Joanne” here too. lol
ReplyCopy URLDecember 2, 2020 at 10:35 pm #1203890956Taylor is winning AOTY, SOTY, BPVA, and BPDGP. Dua will win ROTY AND BPSP. A good night for both of them

Justin was gaining traction at the right time on radio with Holy. His name was around on awards shows & just in general. Also, yummy has been so long forgotten, people probably forgot what it sounded like and misremembered it to be decent. Or Scooter just convinced a bunch of people to vote.
That’s my explanation.

Watermelon Sugar certified x3 Platinum
Final voting begins on Monday and labels want good stats for their artists.
ReplyCopy URLDecember 3, 2020 at 1:29 pm #1203892705Don’t know if this is something to take into consideration but, the winner of Pop Solo has always gone to a #1 single, with the exception of Joanne two years ago. Could: Watermelon Sugar, Say So or cardigan take it?
