Leon Bridges, “Bet Ain’t Worth the Hand”
Betty LaVette, “Don’t Fall Apart on Me Tonight”
    MAJOR., “Honest”
PJ Morton, “How Deep Is Your Love [ft. Yebba]”
Charlie Wilson, “Made for Love [ft. Lalah Hathaway]”

I would be sooooo happy if Betty LaVette won this award.

This is a pretty balanced lineup of young vs. veteran.

I think the fact Lalah Hathaway has won this award more times than anyone (three wins within the past five years alone) and Charlie Wilson is the big vet that has never won a Grammy tilts the advantage to “Made for Love.”

Leon Bridges or PJ Morton could upset, but I think those two and MAJOR. are too similar, and Bettye LaVette is too understated to win, but she does have an Americana Album nomination.

I’m going with “Made for Love.”

You explained this perfectly. However, I’m going with “How Deep Is Your Love” with “Made for Love” as the runner up. As long as one of those two win, I’m a happy camper.

Who am I? You will find out soon enough. Ciao...for now!
