Honey, Beyoncé will NOT happen in Best Dance Recording. The Dance Field stopped allowing Pop/R&B acts to compete as lead artists a decade ago.
Dua and Gaga were allowed to submit in the Dance categories a couple of years ago.

ReplyCopy URLJune 20, 2022 at 7:54 pm #1204991091It’s a cute song, but it could have used more editing and finesse. I’m doubting the whole album will be House. But I am here for the change-up. I do hope there’s at least a handful of songs on the album I like more. And I’m sure that will be the case. It’s a solid introduction to an “era”. An on point video will make it better.

ReplyCopy URLJune 20, 2022 at 7:58 pm #1204991100Meh.
It has some nice moments, but meh. I’m assuming Big Freedia is the other person in the song? That was the best part, honestly.

I never liked Formation but i love LEMONADE. As for this song, it’s better than Formation.

That’s not what they were asking, just if the song could be submitted there. I definitely don’t expect it to show up there on nominations day.

“Formation” starts off well but then sputters in the second half.
ReplyCopy URLJune 20, 2022 at 8:05 pm #1204991117Honey, every song is better than the crappy “Formation” (YUCK!).
ReplyCopy URLJune 20, 2022 at 8:16 pm #1204991123BMS just seems very reserved. There could have been a beat switch-up, which is typical for House music. She could have went in more vocally. The chorus is basic. The song just seems very toned down, like she was scared to really go in because the switch-up to House music was already gonna be difficult for some to swallow. Hopefully, they’ll be a lot of more spice and personality on the rest of the album.
ReplyCopy URLJune 20, 2022 at 8:18 pm #1204991125It’s exactly good. It’s nothing special though and insanely underwhelming as a lead single.

In fact, she gave the song some life that it desperately needed. Supposedly, there’s gonna be a couple more songs released before the album drops. Though that hasn’t been verified.
