    From @chartdata on twitter:

Old Town Road” to remain at #1 on the Hot 100 with over 3x the points of #2. It’s expected to be one of the most dominant #1’s of all time, joining tracks like “I Will Always Love You”, “The Boy Is Mine”, “Shape of You” and more.

To clarify: “Most dominant” refers to tracks that had at least 2x the amount of points as the #2 track on the Hot 100 in any given week. Only 21 tracks have achieved this in the Soundscan era.

Old Town Road (or the Billy Ray remix) is #1 on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes and Youtube.

Then there is the Young Thug remix coming soon, just in case Lil Nas X needs some more streams.

TS7 lead single will end Old Town Road reign at the top in three weeks from now.

    Billboard Hot 100

    1. Lil Nas X featuring Billy Ray Cyrus – Old Town Road
    2. Post Malone and Swae Lee – Sunflower
    3. Post Malone – Wow.
    4. Ariana Grande – 7 Rings
    5. Halsey – Without Me
    6. Jonas Brothers – Sucker
    7. Bruno Mars and Cardi B – Please Me
    8. Khalid – Better
    9. J Cole – Middle Child
    10. Marshmello and Bastille – Happier

“Old Town Road” completely shatters the former streaming record, besting Drake’s “In My Feelings” by 143 million to 116 million. The Billy Ray Cyrus version is now credited at #1, giving Cyrus his first #1 hit.

I will be shocked if J.Cole misses Rap Performance/Song for “Middle Child”. That song has been top 10 for a while.

One word to describe “Earth”, CRINGE!!

They better not even think to consider this tragedy for anything, it’s so bad.

Earth reminds me of We Are the World 2.0! Remember that spectacular crap fest of a remake!? LOL.

Colbie Caillat is a 2 time Grammy winner, including AOTY… A Grammy winner and Lil Nas X do not deserve to be in the same sentence… Put some respect to her name!!!😂

It sounds impressive when you say it like that, but both of Colbie Caillat’s wins are as a featured artist and that AOTY win comes as a feature on a non single on a Taylor Swift album. Featured artists on just one song wouldn’t be considered AOTY winners under the current rules.

Well done to her though, because that’s a lot more than what most people have achieved, but it doesn’t really place her at a level above other musicians.

This is a Billboard charts thread and Lil Nas X has achieved something quite remarkable as a teenager working with a little known producer.

I don’t know why everyone is so bothered about him, he’s having his moment just like others have before. I’d rather see Old Town Road at #1 which is actually a catchy fun song, than that terrible “Earth” song.
