Lil Nas is easily breaking the record at this point. Señorita will come no where close.
June 25, 2019 at 4:35 am #1202950752Ariana will stop Lil Nas X from breaking the record. Mark my words.

With what? I thought she wasn’t releasing any more singles.
June 25, 2019 at 8:59 am #1202951029Shawn Mendes remade Justin Timberfake’s “Señorita”?

June 26, 2019 at 6:53 am #1202952340Driven by a large ticket bundle and strong indie sales, The Raconteurs have dramatically entered the race for #1. The Jack White-fronted act is battling the debut EP from Lil Nas X.
1. The Raconteurs (Third Man) 70-80k total activity. 68-78k album
2. Lil Nas X (Columbia) 70-80k, 3-4khttp://hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=316951&title=TOP-20%3A-TOO-CLOSE-TO-CALL
LMAO
June 26, 2019 at 8:51 am #12029525223-4K in sales is pathetic for an album or EP containing the biggest hit in the land for the past three months and counting. It certainly indicates how fickle his fans are and how short his career is likely to be once the Old Town Road fad finally dies. He might be able to hold on to a ROTY nom; but I’d say the Grammys are not going to show him much love at all, certainly no AOTY nomination. Will anybody admit to liking his music in six months?

He’s a cutie.

Ma’am it’s 2019 not 1990.
June 26, 2019 at 4:57 pm #1202953007Unless you’re a big name veteran artist, sales are basically dead. Streaming is what’s in at the end of this decade. The current youth does not know what a CD/digital album is. Lil Nas X probably won’t last long very long, but his sales are pretty much irrelevant as to why.

Fam, streaming rules now. In that facet of the game, Lil Nas X us still smashing it. Panini and Rodeo are both streaming quite well.

The money in the music industry nowadays is made with merchandise and touring. If people aren’t willing to shell out $7 for his album/EP, they won’t be buying his memorabilia nor tickets to see him on stage. A huge number of streams may place him high on the charts but they don’t keep the lights on for long.

Really gotta hand it to Lil Nas X… he really blocked Shawn and Taylor from a #1 TWICE
July 2, 2019 at 12:52 pm #1202959650Isn’t it ironic that a queer man blocked a song about gay rights?
