Unsure about the whole album but Happier Than Ever and Male Fantasy and probably the best two songs of her career. Oxytocin is nice as well.

How are y’all not ranking Male Fantasy high up, it’s absolutely stunning and heartbreaking, her voice is so gorgeous.

This album is gorgeous, honestly I think I’ll prefer this to WWAFA in the end.

    My top 5 right now:

    Happier Than Ever
    GOLDWING
    I Didn’t Change My Number
    Billie Bossa Nova
    Oxytocin

If grammy voters loved Billie that much with WWAFAWDWG?, y’all aren’t ready for their reception for this album.

incredible work, I still adore her debut but thrilled to hear more dimensions than just “baddest guy” and “saddest emo kid” in her music

This is pretty much on the same level as ‘When We All Fall Asleep’, though perhaps this is a bit of overall stronger work, even though her debut is the funner, most interesting work. The same-i-ness of some songs makes it a sometimes droning experience. There’s plenty of track that don’t really hit. And there’s nothing groundbreaking here. But as far as being “pretty” and frequently engaging and convincingly emotional, it does mostly click.

She should make the last 2:37 seconds of Happier than Ever it’s own single. I can see it doing good on radio.

I mean… it’s decent but absolutely no where near this level. Over half of the album is forgettable. Nothing stands out as bad but it feels too samey for me to really get into.

WWAFA feels like a better overall album concept and execution but HTE has better individual tracks on it for me. The track sequencing could’ve been a lot better than it was since that impacted some of the listening experience for me. She has career peaks on this album though; HTE, Halley’s Comet, Oxytocin, GOLDWING and Billie Bossa Nova are all top tier.

    1. Happier than Ever
    2. NDA
    3. Oxytocin
    4. Male Fantasy
    5. I Didn’t Change My Number

Happier than Ever is such a missed opportunity. There should’ve been a radio friendly version and released as a single. But I can’t see it becoming a hit with the slow intro.
