I think Billie has made it abundantly clear that she’s completely fine with not winning more Grammys anytime soon lol. You can call her thirsty all you want but reducing this to some desperate Grammys ploy feels dismissive of the work she did during a pandemic that didn’t allow her to do much else.

she can always not submit herself again so that will be the end of discussion.

It’s rare for albums to be up for pre-order 3 months nowadays. Interscope is definetely aiming for massive first week numbers.

    Yes exactly 😂

(**As much as I would not want to pressume either… The July 30 release… it’s giving..🙃)

and I am NOT one of those who believe in that near the eligibility bs MYSELF. But APPARENTLY it works. Allegedly. Billie and company seem to be aware of this.

Obviously they’re going for AOTY. And this is by no means of heavy or complex discussion. We just want to make things clear. Somebody like Billie Eilish in particular will always be a contender/threat and potential frontrunner. People who wouldn’t think of this are just playing naive.

And there’s absolutely nothing wrong for a 2x consecutive ROTY winner and SOTY, AOTY winner to aim for the top spot!

    Just clearing it up…

It is interesting they have Olivias debut May 21st and Billies second album July 30th, seems like they have a big campaign for Billie set-up. It is also interesting this is similar date to when Folklore was released last year, close to the end of eligiblity period, so if it does well, it will be favoured with recency votes on the first round of voting.

    Sweetener

    Happier than ever

The “collab” is cause it’s giving “sweetener” vibes.
And we love to see it! I’m excited 🤩

It’s time to let go of this endless summer afternoon

Thoughts on “your power”? I like the song but doesn’t really seem like lead single material.

Yes this is more « Song of the Year » material than lead single. But I like it a lot. Don’t forget that Bad Guy was only the fifth single so

It’s already growing on me. It’s slow but I love the melody.

Loving the strings but nothing new. She really doesn’t have much range in her style of singing. Even Lana, Lorde and Tay whom all have pretty limited voices in my opinion, keep their music interesting.

Congratulations to Grammy Winners: Jazmine Sullivan, Doja Cat, SZA and Olivia Rodrigo!
