I like Starboy. It pushes R&B forward, while 24K Magic is nostalgic and a little too overproduced IMO.

This is an interesting debate. Because 24K Magic has only 9 songs, and I don’t like 2 of them (Calling All My Lovelies, Too Good to Say Goodbye). That’s a terrible track record. Starboy has 18 songs, which I feel like is a little much. I don’t hate any of the tracks, but I would drop a few (True Colours, All I Know, Nothing Without You) to make it an outstanding album.
I talked about The Weeknd’s album here: https://www.facebook.com/ETCanada/videos/1243485122365139/
But The Weeknd should be commended for putting out 18 tracks. It’s ridiculous that Bruno waited 3 years to put out an album with 9 tracks…and they aren’t all stellar.

Just go listen to Miranda Lambert’s insane stellar 24-track double album “The Weight Of These Wings”.
