The eligibility period is more than half over, so I’m looking to build the Grammy predictions center for Album of the Year soon (Record, Song, and New Artist at a later date). I’ve been compiling a list of candidates to enter in the predictions center, and of course I’ll be adding more as major albums are announced/released. But here’s my list so far (alphabetical by first name). Let me know what already released/announced contenders I’m missing:

Alanis Morissette — “Such Pretty Forks in the Road”
    Alicia Keys — “Alicia”
    Bad Bunny — “YHLQMDLG”
    Beck — “Hyperspace”
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie — “Artist 2.0”
    Brittany Howard — “Jaime”
BTS — “Map of the Soul: 7”
    Camila Cabello — “Romance”
    Childish Gambino — “3.15.20”
    Coldplay — “Everyday Life”
    DaBaby — “Kirk”
    Dixie Chicks — “Gaslighter”
    Doja Cat — “Hot Pink”
Eminem — “Music to Be Murdered By”
    FKA Twigs — “Magdalene”
Green Day — “Father of All”
    Halsey — “Manic”
    Harry Styles — “Fine Line”
    Jason Aldean — “9”
    Jhené Aiko — “Chilombo”
    Jon Pardi — “Heartache Medication”
    Justin Bieber — “Changes”
Kanye West — “Jesus is King”
    Kesha — “High Road”
    Lady Antebellum — “Ocean”
    Lady Gaga — “Chromatica”
    Lauv — “How I’m Feeling”
    Lil Baby — “My Turn”
Lil Uzi Vert — “Eternal Atake”
    Little Big Town — “Nightfall”
    Louis Tomlinson — “Walls”
Luke Combs — “What You See is What You Get”
    Lumineers — “III”
    Mac Miller — “Circles”
    Mandy Moore — “Silver Landings”
    Megan Thee Stallion — “Suga”
    Miranda Lambert — “Wildcard”
    Niall Horan — “Heartbreak Weather”
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds — “Ghosteen”
    Old Dominion — “Old Dominion”
    Pearl Jam — “Gigaton”
    Post Malone — “Hollywood’s Bleeding”
Roddy Ricch — “Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial”
Sam Smith — “To Die For”
    Selena Gomez — “Rare”
    Soundtrack — “Frozen II”
Sturgill Simpson — “Sound and Fury”
    Summer Walker — “Over It”
Tame Impala — “The Slow Rush”
    Weeknd — “After Hours”
    Wilco — “Ode to Joy”

Thanks for chiming in with so many great suggestions so fast. I’m facepalming on Dua Lipa. I had her on another list but forgot to add her to my master list. Keep ’em coming.

Sam Fender: Hypersonic Missiles (long shot, but was #1 in the U.K and is critically-acclaimed)

The two I would add are:

The Highwomen – just missed last years eligibility so will be a big contender this year

Sass Jordan – Rebel Moon Blues. Best reviewed blues album of the year and fronted by a tough female.
