Carrie isn’t WME I’d be surprised if she gets more than a female and video nominations. Her songs usually aren’t nominated even when they win the Grammy. I’d love Cry Pretty to get nominations though. The shows have just made me pessimistic.

I know, the CMA has not been giving Carrie a lot of appreciation lately but I still believe that because of this song that she could get some recognition for it but you never know what’s going to happen. The CMAs are more traditional than contemporary so who know. Also, what do you mean by WME?

^^^ Thanks for the news! Congrats to Kenny Chesney on being put back into the Entertainer of the Year category and Luke Combs on what I am sure is an unexpected nomination for Male Artist of the Year!

Okay so what is the deal with Maddie and Tae getting a Duo of the Year nomination again when they have done almost nothing this past year? High Valley should’ve been in there instead after doing so well with their song named “She’s With Me”.

God bless you and them and Kenny and Luke always!!!

Yay! Happy for Kacey and Midland!

It’s a shame the CMAs have such a huger boner for Chris Stapleton… he’s probably gonna beat “Golden Hour” in Album of the Year. I think her chances are much better at the Grammys!

Midland would be so deserving of the Best New Artist prize, but I’m also not counting on it =(

I hope she wins best country album at the Grammys too but she will go against Chris….

it’s a real pity that Cam’s “Diane” & Ashley McBryde’s “A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega” didn’t get nominated at least for SotY.
