There are a lot of female singers with limited vocal ranges. However most of those women compensate by delivering quality music, performances, or both. Dua does none of the above. She’s quite bland. At least Billie Eilish’s style is somewhat “unique”. What is distinct about Dua? Not hating, just curious.
Except she does deliver quality music, or at least many, many people feel she does. If her work was so bland, then her reviews would refect that, no offense. Is her stuff pushing into new boundaries or incredibly deep or relevant? No, but it’s very well-done pop music with great hooks and slick production. You can personally not like her music but still recognize that it’s well-done.March 26, 2020 at 10:16 pm #1203396368
I’m giving the album a second listen and it sounds better. It’s probably gonna grow on me. Good In Beed needs to leave tho.
I don’t hate Good In Bed but it doesn’t work in the album at all. It felt like they added it because they ‘needed’ (?) a sexy song for some reason.March 26, 2020 at 10:19 pm #1203396374This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.March 26, 2020 at 10:21 pm #1203396376

She fucking did that. An album for the gays! And we live! This is pop! This is music! We need this right now!!! It’s about time pop is fun again and not a sad depressing suicidal mess. Thank You Queen Dua! All hail!

Miss Dua did what she HAD to do. Damn!
This album just HAS to be nominated. At first listen, it’s really good….. and then it grows into an amazing record.

The album is basic and generic.March 27, 2020 at 7:08 am #1203396743

the music is generic and bland and she as a stàr has no personality. She is lucky she can’t perform right now but wait until she does the live promo circuit. Reviews are a small group of people it’s sad to base opinions on what they think. I don’t hate her but you have to be crazy to not hear this is basic and generic void of any personality.March 27, 2020 at 7:14 am #1203396759
The way The Fame was dragged and now every pop album is getting praised…

I consider to be great record, for sure. There are a lot of slaps on here, bro. I’m telling you, you will die if you decide to workout to this album. There’s no way you won’t go high-octane if this music is playing in your ears.
