We have a thread about artist we thought were snubbed but not a thread about winners we agree with.

    Ill start

The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill winning AOTY stomps on any AOTY winner and that isn’t up for debate :))))

Sweetener DESERVED its Pop Vocal win. It’s one of the best pop albums released recently, and that’s the tea.

I also loved seeing the iconic yee haw queen Kacey Musgraves win AOTY. Her album was the only good one in the line up (besides Janelle’s).

Feel It Still winning over Despacito and The War on Drugs winning over everyone else are also some iconic Grammy moments.

And finally, we won’t forget that time Beck won AOTY.

Stressed Out – Pop Duo/Group Performance

    Viva la Vida – SOTY

    Clocks – ROTY

Sweetener – Best Pop Vocal Album

    Golden Hour – AOTY

Norah Jones’ Come Away With Me is also my top favorite AOTY wins after Lauryn. It’s a shame hearing that she had so much backlash after her win because no one knew who she was at the time. it was still a beautiful written and easy listening album.

This decade, The Suburbs, Random Access Memories, and Golden Hour have been my favorite AOTY wins. I’m satisfied and not sad.

probably jason isbell’s americana wins, but then again that’s just cuz I don’t know what the hive mind in that business was like, as much as I like some of their alternative picks, acts like vampire weekend and st. vincent were always gonna win in their perspective year, matter of fact I actually liked st. vincent (the album) a lot less when I revisited it after the win
