I was listening to music a la early 2000’s and was wondering if you could go back in time for the Grammys, what would you change?

    For me personally :

    – Give J.Lo more love – (Aint it Funny in Rap/Sung, Jenny in Pop Collab, On the 6 and IYHML for Pop Album & Female Performance, On The Floor for Dance Recording)

    – Britney’s Circus and Femme Fatale eras deserved more love from the Grammys, she made a comeback! and if someone tells me lipsynching I will say to things… 1. Mutliple reports state that although Britney has a good deal of playback, she does sing, and with her choreography that is expected. 2. Lot’s of artist lipsynch and get nominated for Grammy’s!, does anyone remember Chris Brown’s 2012 Performance?

    – Noms for Female Pop Vocal Performance and Pop Album for Circus (track & album)

    – Noms in Dance Recording & Dance/Electronica Album for Femme Fatale

P.S. – In 2005, although she won, Britney should have had her biggest night, with a ROTY & BMV for Toxic, Pop Collab for Me Against the Music, & Pop Album and of course Dance Recording

    – Rihanna’s Good Girl Gone Bad should have gotten a nod, it had tons of hits… (Umbrella, Don’t Stop The Music, Shut Up & Drive, etc.)

    – Xtina deserved the FPVP award for Genie in a Bottle, and a Pop Album nod for her debut, it had 3 #1’s!

    – I would block Taylor from winning AOTY a second time by giving Kendrick the award as he should have

    – and in more recent years I would completely revamp the Pop, Rap, R&B & GF noms for 2021, a la have at least one well deserving woman in R&B album, nominate the Weeknd, change Rap Album to accurately represent the best Rap Album, not just give Nas the win, remove Bieber from Pop Field, giving his BPSP slot to Gaga, and BPVA to Post Malone. My GF would look like this… (I will remind you I am predominately a pop music fan, so don’t hate me for my preferences)

AOTY: Fetch the Bolt Cutters, Chromatica, Chilombo, Fine Line, Folklore, Future Nostalgia, After Hours, Women in Music

SOTY: Cardigan, Black Parade, I Can’t Breathe, Adore You, Don’t Start Now, The Box, Blinding Lights, Everything I Wanted

ROTY: Rain On Me, Savage, Black Parade, Blinding Lights, Adore You, Rockstar, Don’t Start Now, Everything I Wanted

BNA: Doja, Megan, Phoebe, Pop Smoke, Conan Grey, BlackPink, Ingrid Andress, Kaytranada

Get real!  DAMN. was the best album nominated in that pathetic ass Album of the Year line-up.  Y’all better NOT say the best was Melodrama (BARF!).

I’ll reiterate what I’ve said before: Kendrick should’ve won in 2016 and then Lorde in 2018. They’re both incredible artists who deserve to win AOTY. I personally prefer Melodrama over DAMN. and I think everyone knows TPAB was objectively the best nominee in 2016.

Honey, no shade.  White people will think that Melodrama was the best AOTY nominee that year (YUCK!).  However, DAMN. shits all over it.

It can be argued that if Melodrama couldn’t get a BPVA nom, how could it get AOTY?

    TPAB deserved everything and more…

I despise Kanye West with all of my being, his attitude now is terrible, and looking back at his music closely, it can get really offensive… 21 grammys my ass…

Roddy Ricch, Pop Smoke, Nas, Travis Scott, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, etc. all make music with a lot more substance than Kanye.

Chromatica deserved an AOTY, and Rain on Me deserved a ROTY, there I said it, now everyone yell at me…

Harry Styles should have replaced Post Malone in the GF, I am a firm believer against GF nominees who can’t get genre nominations
