Last year, he withdrew his nominations because he didn’t sneak into the GF and he thought Kanye and Tyler were going to beat his a**, and they did. He just doesn’t like to lose, no other reason.

The second Rihanna song on the soundtrack “Born Again” should have been released instead of LMU. LMU’s performance is more about the song and less about Rihanna’s market strength.

SZA confirmed as performer for SNL on 12/3 and is highly anticipated to drop her album in December too. Really rooting for her to get into AOTY next year.
The only project released so far that I think is a lock in AOTY is Midnights (and BPVA), and Anti-Hero for ROTY/SOTY/BPSP. But then again, there’s barely been any releases the last couple of months.
Rihanna’s ‘Lift Me Up’ will probably be a lock for BSFVM too.

Nas’ King’s Disease 3 is one of the best this year and a Best Rap Album contender. He’s still dropping gems 30 years into his career.

Drake hasn’t put out a truly GREAT album since Take Care. His music is mostly derivative these days. Honestly, Nevermind was a step in the right creative direction. But the execution fell flat. He should take an extended break & come back with something fresh that emphasizes his storytelling abilities. The man is undeniably talented. However, he’s overexposed asf.

Drake is actually lucky Taylor gave the BB200 to him. She could’ve released 3am physicals to block him if she wanted to.
Taylor probably saw Drake’s diss for Megan + him releasing in the same timeline as her album rollout– her and Drake’s friendship immediately went poof. Just shows that you really shouldn’t mess with Taylor’s plans (she let Adele pass, but she she showed wasn’t playing anymore with Drake– since he’s an a** 🤣)
