Jazmine got her due (2 Grammys), Jon went 5/11 with AOTY in that winning pile, SZA finally got her Grammy, etc. Pretty decent winners, and the Grammys really waxed the Oscars without any controversy. The ratings probably won’t top the Oscars, but the Grammys get a B+.

Billie and Bieber ended up be the ones with lots of noms that won nothing. Bieber was expected, but even though I didn’t predict Billie in anything, I really thought she would end up winning something lmao and tbh I wish HTE won Pop Solo.

I thought they will give her music video if she ain’t winning anything. I mean HTE is her best song to me. It definitely sounds much more like a timeless classic than Bad Guy or everything i wanted.

I thought Montero would win Best Music Video, Billie takes BPSP, Driver License takes SOTY meanwhile LTDO takes ROTY.

Billie’s ROTY win last year was unnecessary and worked against her this year. I’m sure a lot of voters felt giving her ROTY thrice back to back would be overkill even if HTE is a gorgeous song.

I meant in the context of GF, and the comparison to Glenn is in the sense that it’s someone who’s highly respected by the industry but had bad luck each time and lost.
