Yep. Secrets was huge. Toni was on fire during that era. The GRAMMYS loved her. I’m surprised it didn’t sneak in AOTY.

I still don’t understand why the Waiting to Exhale soundtrack wasn’t nominated in R&B Album.

2001 was the most competitive year for R&B albums, hence why they decided to split the category into two the following year.

Maxwell, Usher, Erykah Badu, etc. were all competitive for nominations but missed.
