^True. Kendrick got 2 undeserved Grammy wins for “I”. It’s a good song but it’s not the Best Rap Song of 2014 nor was it the Best Rap Performance. Drake, KANYE & Nicki were all robbed. I would go: Best Rap Performance: Drake – 0 to 100/ The Catch Up runner up: Childish Gambino – 3005 Best Rap Song: Kanye West – Bound 2 f/ Charlie Wilson Runner up: Nicki Minaj – Anaconda
Thats part of the reason why the Grammys have been woefully out of touch when it comes to the Hip Hop/R&B categories. If they don’t screw over Kendrick in 2014 then they wouldn’t have had to feel such pressure to award him in 2015. They dropped THE BALL in 2014. Its been going on for a minute. Just wait and see how they fall over themselves to award The Weeknd in 2023 or whenever his next album comes out to make up for this year.

I would have voted for Lupe in Rap Album and T.I. in Rap Song.

I’m not really into rap music and objectively hate Kanye due to his problematic behavior but MBDTF is in my Top 5 best albums of 2010s. I don’t get it why it got snubbed for AOTY, was it because of Watch the Throne?

Mystikal – “Shake Ya Ass”

Yep, this should have been an easy first win for Snoop, with only “Lean Back” as the spoiler. I really hate when non-rap voters touch this field because that’s clearly what happened here.

Linkin Park and Jay-Z “Numb/Encore” – WINNER
Gwen Stefani featuring Eve – “Rich Girl”
Destiny’s Child featuring T.I. and Lil Wayne – “Soldier”
Common featuring John Legend and Kanye West – “They Say”
Ciara featuring Missy Elliott – “1, 2 Step”I agree with this winner. Numb/Encore is a reason why I wish this category existed in the 80s so that Walk This Way by Run DMC & Aerosmith could have won this award.
Interesting that Jay Z won over Beyonce in this category.

Ciara feat. Missy Elliot “1, 2 Step” or Gwen Stefani feat. Eve “Rich Girl” should’ve won.
