Like many on here, I’m having trouble making Grammy predictions in the prediction center due to an overwhelming list of options for Album, Record, and Song of the Year, some of which have been confirmed to not be in those categories, and with several key contenders missing. So here is a list of albums/songs that should be added based on chart performance, relevant critical reviews / awards, mentions by multiple users on these forums, etc.

In addition, for Song of the Year the song “must contain melody and lyrics and must be either a new song or a song first achieving prominence during the Eligibility Year”.

    e.g. “Ed Sheeran & Beyoncé – Perfect”.

This is not a new song, as the solo version was sent to pop radio in September 2017 during the previous eligibility period and it was part of the Grammy winning ÷ album. But the duet with Beyoncé is a new recording, so it’s eligible for Record of the Year, but not Song of the Year.

Removed Lauren Daigle’s You Say since it was confirmed to have not been entered in Record or Song.

I’d REALLY appreciate it if Daniel or someone else at Gold Derby would update the prediction center.

Also, add Babe by Sugarland ft. Taylor Swift in ROTY and SOTY.

Before making big changes to the predictions center, I wanted to double confirm some of NewCat’s info, which I have now been able to do.

I’ve removed a number of candidates that weren’t submitted. I’ll be making additions as well, and I’m also working on Best New Artist, which I will hopefully have added to the predictions center before the week is over.
