LeAnn Rimes should’ve been given the Best Female Country Performance award in 1998, 2007, 2009, and 2011.

God bless you and her always!!!

Holly (a day one fan of her)

P.S. Trisha Yearwood, Carrie Underwood, and Miranda Lambert have those Grammy awards.

I would say the Whitney album losing to U2’s The Joshua Tree in 1988.

Gloria Estefan and The Miami Sound Machine losing Pop Duo or Group for Anything For You to Manhattan Transfer in 1989.

Mariah Carey losing Pop Album for Daydream to Joni Mitchell’s Turbulent Indigo for Pop Album in 1996.

Jill Scott losing R&B Female in 2001 for Gettin’ In The Way to Toni Braxton’s He Wasn’t Man Enough For Me. I think Jill Scott and Erykah Badu split the votes.

Whitney, Faith Evans and Kelly Price losing R&B Duo or Group for Heartbreak Hotel to TLC’s No Scrubs in 2000.

Will Smith’s “Men in Black” winning Best Rap Solo Performance over Notorious B.I.G.’s “Hypnotize,” Missy Elliott’s “The Rain” and Busta Rhymes’ “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See.”

    It was a despicable win.

Also, both of The Black Eyed Peas Rap field wins were terrible.

It was very dissapointing to see Sia lose for Chandelier, when she lost Pop Solo to Happy (Live). Not only is Happy not a very good song (and the live version…is not it), but Chandelier is honestly such an amazing song.

Aside from that, I was very dissapointed to see God is a woman lose ans Havana (Live) to Joanne. I kinda love Havana now that the song is not being played every two seconds, and Camila did the damn thing with her performance.

Also painful to see Rihanna lose to Maxwell.

I will never, EVER get over those Macklemore wins in 2013. I think that it’s pretty universally accepted that they robbed Kendrick in damn near every category that year.

This is very true. Sia being a zero-time Grammy winner is kinda unforgivable. Unpopular opinion but she should have swept over 25 and Lemonade for This Is Acting.

Lionel Richie winning AOTY over Prince, Bruce, Tina and Cyndi. I think Bruno’s win is equivalent to his.

24K Magic, weirdly, reminds me of Shape of Water winning Best Picture that same year. An acceptable, consensus win that’s not looked at as bad but it was definitely not the best of the category.

Honey, Dua Lipa deserved her Best New Artist win. She was successful. H.E.R. is overrated and lacked hit singles.

It’s the Grammys, not the Billboard Awards.

It was my second favorite album in that year’s lineup, so I definitely wasn’t mad about it. It wasn’t the best album in the category but it was a perfectly fine winner. Of course, I also didn’t think they would give it to the deserving winner, so that may affect how I feel about it.

I don’t think it was as bad then as it is now. Can’t Slow Down had several hits, so it made sense. However, the albums that Richie was nominated with have all become certified classics.

Eh I love Bruno and I think any other year I would’ve been more welcoming to his wins but over works like 4:44 and DAMN, I just couldn’t support it all the way like that. It’s a perfectly digestible album that gave you 90s R&B vibes but no where near a masterpiece (I don’t think any of his albums are above an 8).
