Do the Grammys still care about Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney anymore? they don’t tend to get nominated much nowadays.

Bruce is iffy. Sir Paul is a different case…….he is a Legend in the same way as Tony Bennett is so he could get those nostalgia votes. And this is coming from a huge fan of him and I’m young still so he couldhave a lot of support from the older and younger voters alike

My predictions for Rock/Alternative: (I don’t keep up with the genre and know nothing about Rock or Alternative just predicting) Best Rock Performance

    • The Bandit (Kings of Leon)
    • Waiting On A War (Foo Fighters)
    • Heat Above (Greta Van Fleet)
    • Pay Your Way in Pain (St. Vincent)
    • Teardrops (Bring Me the Horizon)

    Best Rock Song

    • The Bandit (Kings of Leon)
    • Smile (Wolf Alice)
    • Shame Shame (Foo Fighters)
    • Pay Your Way in Pain (St. Vincent)
    • t r a n s p a r e n t s o u l (WILLOW feat. Travis Barker)

    Best Rock Album

    • Medicine at Midnight (Foo Fighters)
    • Van Weezer (Weezer)
    • Teatro d’ira – Vol. 1 (Måneskin)
    • The Bitter Truth (Evanescense)
    • Power Up (AC/DC)

    Best Alternative Music Album

    • Collapsed In Sunbeams (Arlo Parks)
    • Daddy’s Home (St. Vincent)
    • Blue Weekend (Wolf Alice)
    • Little Oblivions (Julien Baker)
    • When You See Yourself (Kings of Leon)

I’d say these are pretty good. Some weird choices but overall your opinion seems accurate enough 🙂

why do you think she’ll be accepted in alternative this time around and not pop again?

Because the three singles she released are not pop at all, and the old track confirmed to be in the Album (cherry blossom and Thunder ) Are not pop either. In some ways you can consider NFR! a pop album, but  BB is going in another way. Chemtrails is maybe going to pop or Americana/country

Does FLOWERS for VASES / descansos by Hayley Williams have a chance at Best Alternative Album or “My Limb” for Best Alternative Song? She didn’t get noms for Petals for Armor or “Simmer” last year even though a lot of people thought Simmer was guaranteed a nom for Best Rock Song.

    There’s no Alternative Song category
