Hun, Harry’s house didn’t even sell 10% of 1989 or 25. At least 1989 and 25 are Diamond records. This just screams mediocre white male privilege

    25 sold 2x more than 1989 ☠️ Let’s be serious

You hate queerbaiters but you Stan a homophobe deadnaming rapper, don’t you?

Now, you are dissing Kendrick huh? I don’t even need to explain to your dumbass. Kendrick is 10 times better than queerbaiter Harry Styles, at least he tackles issues.

I got you stuck in the realness

Beyonce needs to get Bruno to exclusively produce & co-write her next album. Possibly make it a collaborative album cause their chemistry at the Superbowls was glorious.

Beyonce is not and shouldn’t make a fully safe, basic, throwback album to appeal to middle aged and older white voters. While a lot of voters simply resent her and likely still won’t vote for her in AOTY even if she went that route. She and her stans need to just move on from AOTY.

Beyoncé and Kendrick will always be an afterthought in AOTY, simply because of their heavy use of sample and collaborators. It’s obvious at this point.

Aka “the Grammys’ bias towards hip-hop” aka racism. Tale as old as time.

Hon that Adele sweep turned  1/7 must be so painful.

Sleep well and hopefully tomorrow will be better. 😛😁

Hun, so many artists deserved that award before Harry even Beyonce. But ok. Grammy remain a joke. I haven’t even heard a song from that album aside from As it was.

This was one of the best Grammy nights in recent history, though.

I loved about 85% of the winners, tbh. The performances were awesome, with the Hip Hop one being the best by far.

It was a nice night that will always be remembered as a shitshow when Beyoncé was robbed against a 0 creative white artist again.

I don’t think it’s samples. I think it’s just that AOTY winner is almost always safe music. Harry Styles tries to be provocative a little bit with his looks/style, but his music remains very safe, the type of music that Grammy voters like to reward.

I think that kind of plays into the safeness aspect, though. It’s crazy because Harry can make a bunch of ’80s-influenced tracks (with “As It Was” being a clear “Take on Me” redux), but let Beyoncé make a ’90s-influenced album and properly credit the influencers, she’s stuck in the genre categories. It’s crazy, but I always doubted a Beyoncé win.

    Is that a serious question?

(R&B/Visual Media field nominations/wins aside) So just like Gaga in 2010 who swept the Dance field and was nominated for ROTY/SOTY/AOTY with that winning song & album, Bey now went through the same thing. And both lost to an album that won its genre album category. Daft Punk were truly the exceptions.

Honestly I think Beyoncé is not submitting anymore. She has her record and the history ends here.

You switched from complaining about “white privilege” to attacking Kendrick real fast didn’t you?

If CUFF IT were the lead single, I’m wondering if things would have turned out different..

what do you think he meant with that statement?

Maybe he was talking about his personal life. I don’t know. But being vaguely queer-ish (while still being male presenting and still only having known hetero relationships) does not make him a minority in the entertainment industry’s eyes. While he’s still white, male, masculine and makes fairly safe music. So, I don’t know what he was talking about.
