In the variety article they say there’s 18 performance slots planned and the most we counted so far (already considering Beyoncé and Kendrick surprise appearances) is 16. So I wonder how many surprises they have in store for the ceremony and why.

But also, nothing stops them from announcing something as late as tomorrow morning. This year is so weird I wouldn’t be shocked.

I have to say… if not announcing performers is some sort of strategy, it’s currently failing. I don’t know a single person who is aware that the Grammys are this Sunday.

I’m actually shocked that they didn’t announce more performers.

Beyonce, Adele and Taylor should have been locked in as performers from Day 1 and used to advertise the show. I can’t see how the ratings won’t be the lowest of all time.

So far, these are the performances we know about:

1. Harry Styles
2. Lizzo
3. Brandi Carlile
4. Bad Bunny
5. Sam Smith & Kim Petras
6. Luke Combs
7. Mary J. Blige
8. Steve Lacy
9. DJ Khaled with Jay-Z & Others
10. Hip-Hop Tribute
11. Stevie Wonder, Chris Stapleton & Smokey Robinson.

Were any others officially announced? If so, I missed them.
