Can they please drop an official announcement? The rumors are getting tired already
I kind of like the element of surprise. In the internet era where EVERYTHING gets leaked a nice surprise performance that was unannounced previously is kind of cool.
And I say this as someone whose not a fan of Adele. If she pops up performing unannounced i’ll sit there and watch

I’m intrigued who this is, in addition to the other ones Trevor Noah teased. Perhaps Miley is performing after all? Or maybe SZA? I’m not sure who this could be…

it’s probably Miley, i saw some of her fans on twitter saying that her band posted a story rehearsing with the caption “grammys week” or something like that
ReplyCopy URLVariety did mention in their performers/presenters article that the producers have 18 performance slots planned. 12 of those have already been announced so far. Adele’s been leaked as the female performer, so there’s 5 slots to be filled.
Winston teased a non-nominee that confirmed just this wednesday (possibly miley), Noah hinted the male performer (perhaps kendrick but not sure) and then 3 slots we have no clue what to guess and why weren’t announced.

This could be indication that they’re going to broadcast Best Music Video.
All the other nominees are already confirmed to attend (Adele, Styles, Doja Cat, Swift) and Dave Free would sit in for Lamar if he doesn’t attend, so they’d be able to show everyone’s faces when they announce the category live on the main show.
