To be fair though this applies to WS as well

Yes, both are, I’ve never said WS wasn’t. But again, Dua got more noms and more acclaim so she was a more common prediction than Harry. I guess DSN peaking earlier helped WS.

Thinking about not including WDTAB in my GF predictions anymore. It was huge, but it peaked really early and didn’t have that much longevity (it didn’t have radio support tbf). Don’t know what to predict in its place for now though.

We Don’t Talk About Bruno/Encanto was fad of the year. It wasn’t happening in January and it’s definitely not happening now.

Future Nostalgia was such a good BPVA winner. I still get gagged thinking about it. Like I cannot believe voters showed so much taste. Folklore was a cute AOTY winner and all but FN was THE pop album of the year. It also spurred the smashery of levitating in the following months.

Harry is clearly bigger internationally than he is in the States, tho.

Early projections are currently “only” 150-200k SEA units. Did he release any physical copies?

With the way Kendrick is falling on the charts, I’m almost shocked that the tracks are collapsing this fast. Maybe some of them re-stabilize at some point but he is more than likely losing AOTY for a 5th time. Sad.

Unless someone huge releases this year (most likely TV’s 1989), I see Harry having the biggest album sales of 2022.

Okay, and how does this negate what I said? I didn’t say anything about its GD odds. Y’all really need to start reading and understanding. As I said before, “Don’t Start Now” was never the Grammy contender people here made it out to be. It’s not that Grammy friendly to pull off a win, let alone three wins, like people here thought. GD odds DO NOT matter. DSN just didn’t have the appeal of “Get Lucky” or “Uptown Funk”… at all.

Those odds aren’t by people on this forum only. Those are official Gold Derby odds. I can also go find what everyone was predicting in the media if you want, most people were saying DSN. That’s just a fact. I lived it. Maybe you didn’t think it stood a chance, but almost everyone else thought it was the most likely winner with Billie a close second, and Harry beat both.

Which is what I said, and I never mentioned GD odds in my post. Again, read and understand what is typed.
