BBY Kodie 9. spill tab 10. MICHELLE Here’s the link to the video for y’all to view it and consider your predictions: https://youtu.be/q2-xeJ_KZT8
How can Jack Harlowe be nominated for BNA when he’s been nominated previously as a lead artist?

Yeah he is not eligible, he is been nominated for performance categories two times already
May 25, 2022 at 4:09 am #1204962893Honey, give it up! Bad Bunny and Rosalía are NOT happening in Album of the Year.
May 25, 2022 at 4:12 am #1204962897while I love the song and am anticipating the the video I simply CANNOT see this as SOTY. Kendrick would have a better chance with The Heart Part 5, which didn’t even make the album, than We Cry Together as SOTY at the Grammys. Can’t wait for the video though!
Same! We Cry Together is a very unconventional song to get ROTY/SOTY noms. I think that if United In Grief or Count Me Out were singles, they could get nominated, but they’re still very experimental (they give me MBDTF/Yeezus vibes, which were not Academy darlings). He should also make a music video for Die Hard!

I was joking at that moment but imagine, We Cry Together; a song full of insults, full chorus f-bombs, theatrical fight song makes the SOTY list with likes of Adele, Harry Styles, Brandi Carlile and possibly Taylor Swift. It’s the funniest song of the year.
I want Kendrick to shoot visuals for each song and having a hard time submitting which song to which category.
I got you stuck in the realness
May 25, 2022 at 6:38 am #1204962980This is my current prediction. I think Tate McRae now stands a better chance with the full album coming out and continuing to be bubbling under achieving a bigger commercial success, while GAYLE had one massive hit that disappeared quickly and a boring EP. I feel there are one or two artists that could pop up over the summer that could bump a few of these off (LS-S…). I hope they go back down to 8 nominees. I’d cross off L S-S and either Omar or Anitta.
Anitta
Omar Apollo
Black Country, New Road
Zach Bryan
Latto
Muni Long
Tate McRae
MUNA
Lauren Spencer-Smith
Wet LegMay 25, 2022 at 7:28 am #1204963034With Best New Artist being so weak, I wouldn’t be surprised if an underground Grammy darling on the rise won.
I can’t take seriously a lineup in which the most stablished name is a latin artist who debuted a decade ago and is eligible due to a technicality, yet they’re still very far from being known globally and having enough crossover appeal to win.
Edit:
But since we’re lowering the standards, I saw that Zach Bryan guy having an impressive debut. Peaking in the top 10 of the Billboard 200. If he plays the game right and doesn’t out himself as a racist, he could be an improved Morgan Wallen.
Zach Bryan is winning. Funny how his name is very similar to the previous Country BNA winner. Zack Brown Band vs. Zach Bryan.
May 25, 2022 at 7:49 am #1204963055I’ve been doing my digging into him. No major red flags and was quite outspoken about BLM in 2020 on Twitter.
I also feel the same way about Anitta… I don’t see her happening, but it’s a quieter year and she definitely could.

May 25, 2022 at 7:22 pm #1204963842I think Coi Leray could be a BNA nominee.
May 25, 2022 at 9:55 pm #1204963969Coi Leray probably won’t make BNA. That seems like her only real shot but I just don’t see her having that much passion.
