I really hope this year’s Best Pop Duo/Group Performance nominees features at least one non-mainstream song. Beg For You (Charli XCX feat. Rina Sawayama), LA FAMA (Rosalía feat. The Weeknd), Me Porto Bonito (Bad Bunny feat. Chencho Corleone), Otro Atardecer (Bad Bunny feat. The Marías) or even You And Me On The Rock (Brandi Carlile feat. Lucius) could get a nomination.

Completely agree with this! BPDGP is very weak this time, for a commercial pop category. I’d really like to see Charli XCX and Rosalia scooping some noms.

I think it could because was a successful and surprising Disney hit, but the hype went down really quick. It’s possible that it can get nominated.

Even without being recognized by the GRAMMYs yet, I think Orville Peck has a chance of being nominated in Best Country Album. What are some of your predictions on this category? My picks are:

– “Humble Quest”, Marren Morris
– “Palomino”, Miranda Lambert
– “Run, Rose, Run”, Dolly Parton
Luke Comb’s “Growin’ Up” or Jimmie Allen’s “Tulip Drive” are also strong contenders.

Charlie Puth can try, but the only song featuring BTS members that will be nominated in this cycle is My Universe.

BSWFVM is so packed that a song may pull a Sunflower and miss out just in that one category despite showing up in other fields. But Taylor, Gaga and Bey are safe. Not sure about Doja because Vegas is in the bottom of the ballot and last year’s lineup was alphabetically unbalanced. BPD/GP is so weak that Just Look Up could appear out of nowhere out of pure name-checking. Meanwhile, Carolina is not happening in BPSP, while Hold My Hand is fighting for the 5th slot.
Bad Bunny coming for a 3rd week at #1, in his 8th week on the chart. Second album with three #1 weeks this year, after Encanto Soundtrack. Great reviews too.

I brought up MUNA a long time ago. It definitely is giving the same vibe as Haim, Phoebe Bridgers, Courtney Barnett, Maggie Rogers. I would love it if they actually won too, but look at the other artists I mentioned and their Grammy track records… I do think if any year, it’s this year they could pull it off though!
