Paris Hilton confirmed she heard the new version of Tiny Dancer by Elton John and Britney Spears and that it will be released very soon. I’m predicting it for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Lol. Beyoncé is not sweeping the general field or the Grammys for that matter. Y’all set her up each and every time.

We don’t even know if Renaissance is gonna be stable or not. And the timing of Adele’s residency is too perfect. I hope Beyoncé pulls a GF win though.

So Left And Right by Charlie Puth and Jungkook moved up (+4) spots on bb to #47 on it’s 4th week do you think it’ll get a best pop duo/group nominee ?

It’s already declining hard on Spotify. It’s obviously not sustaining, and I love the album.

I think it could, but there’s also My Universe with Coldplay (which I guess it’s more likely at the moment) and some people have said it would count as two entries for Jungkook so only one can get a nom.

Right now it’s just speculation, as I don’t think they’d make a ruling before the song is submitted. But it would set an interesting precedent if anyone could release an extended version of a song and make it eligible for SOTY again.

Re-recordings have won in the album categories before, including Kraftwerk winning their only competitive Grammy in 2018, with an album of live recordings of their earlier works.

A Live album is fine. That’s not an issue and has been done many times by different artists. The issue is you going to record the exact same songs with the same production over again. There’s no substantial difference between Scooter’s versions and Taylor’s versions that should warrant it to compete again sorry.

    terrible take

This elegant response got me laughing at myself 😂.

I just find sampling quite annoying, but it’s a “me” thing innit.

I don’t think BMS stands a chance against EOM in ROTY and SOTY tbh.

I can def see Adele winning AOTY and maybe SOTY but idk about ROTY it’s a battle between As It Was, About damn time and Easy on me.
