Goodness. A Doja vs Cardi stan war from grown ass men?
    gif

As far as Cardi’s “talents,” I’d say that she is a pretty good performer and her visuals have been on point for the most part.

As far as Nicki winning a Grammy, it’s not like it’s that hard to win a Grammy. Aside from Best New Artist (arguably), I can’t think of any situation where she was by far the best. “Super Freaky Girl” was designed to be a hit, from the sample, to the structure to the “Anaconda” template. Still, doesn’t feel like a Grammy song at all. It doesn’t mean that she can’t win one someday, but against Kendrick’s music? Even in his worst year, the lyrical content, structuring, etc. far exceeds anything Nicki has done in years.

On a Kendrick note, I wonder if we will end up getting “The Heart Part 5” as his main submission. This is the only part from the series that hasn’t been taking down after the album’s release and was even added as a “third disc.” I can see “N95” being his video submission, but THV could be what he pushes in the rap field at least.

Quick question: Who the hell are the FYC ads littered all over this site catered to? Are they ads or just site decor?

Cheat Codes by Danger Mouse & Black Thought is building up its nomination for Best Rap Album.

I guess we could say Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers and It’s Almost Dry are locks. I’m also predicting Jack Harlow’s Come Home The Kids Miss You.

Megan’s only nomination will be Sweetest Pie in Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

I’ve heard Nas is releasing King’s Disease III. Is that true?

2022 is the year that anyone who is nominated for Best New Artist can win and will not receive a hater. What a fantastic moment! You are fantasizing thinking that the Grammy will give this award to another rapper in a period of 2 years after giving it to Megan. Latto will have to settle for the Bet and VMAs award.

Yeah, Cheat Codes is one of my contenders too. Pusha and Kendrick will be there, i don’t know if Nas will release during eligibility period but i heard something like that also Magic is still available.

I got you stuck in the realness

I’m not predicting Magic, personally. Honestly, I would have never heard of it if it wasn’t this forum. But it could, for sure, be nominated.

If Fivio Foreign gets that Best New Artist nomination, B.I.B.L.E. could show up in the list.

Continuing the conversation. Nicki will never win a Grammy or will be nominated again. A woman of almost 40 years old who instead of maturing and being more professional, prefers to attack Missy Elliott on Twitter and send shade to Queen Latifah. She attacks people of great influence inside the gym and this automatically causes her to be left out and have no chance of anything.

    thanks! i have no idea.

Will the Academy also consider adding to the mix, those who won in Country Music Awards as Best New Artists? just wondering

Un Verano Sin Ti deserves Álbum of the Year! It is time a Latin artist gets to shine!

Congratulations to Grammy Winners: Jazmine Sullivan, Doja Cat, SZA and Olivia Rodrigo!

Btw Nicki Minaj never had any passion from the Grammy’s. She only ever got in for her undeniable stuff during her peak, just like Katy Perry. Once her relevancy faded the Academy just stopped caring as well. She’ll be lucky to score a nomination this year, she’s not going anywhere near a win.
