    What about album categories?

    Same as performance categories.

What about, like, Alison Krauss & Robert Plant? It would go under A, K or P?

“Cannibal” by Marcus Mumford for Best Song Written for Social Change.

P as in “Robert Plant & Alison Krauss”. Similarly, last year there was “Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga”.

Harry is yet to have a remix or a collaboration in his solo career.

That was the point. And ok, want a cookie?

    Pop Solo

    Adele
    Harry Styles
    Beyoncé
    Lizzo
    Doja Cat

Harry sticks out. He may take it if that’s the lineup.

A ballad fighting four bangers. Let’s not fool ourselves.

“As It Was” being a “banger” is a bit of a reach.

Nah. Adele’s got that & it’s not even close. Pure Grammy bait.

You’re right, but it’s a song with a lot of synthpop elements. An adult contemporary song is the most distinguishable of the group.

The only thing that sticks out about that lineup is Harry being a male, and Adele has already taking down two males in a similar lineup.

A male and the song with the most rock appeal. It’s between him and Adele for sure but if she loses a category this is the one I see her being the weakest in. Lizzo, Beyoncé and Doja will unfortunately appeal to the same voter and will split.

“Rock appeal” doesn’t matter in the pop field.

I really want Bey to submit “Alien Superstar” somewhere. It’s her best song imo . I’ll take even a Pop Solo nomination.

Btw Nicki Minaj never had any passion from the Grammy’s. She only ever got in for her undeniable stuff during her peak, just like Katy Perry. Once her relevancy faded the Academy just stopped caring as well. She’ll be lucky to score a nomination this year, she’s not going anywhere near a win.

Her relevancy never faded. She just never released legitimate material until this year. And clearly it seems that she’s gaining relevancy once again.
