Keep an eye out for “Legend”. I wonder how many times John Legend has been blocked all these years. I have a feeling he could surprise in big categories.

I feel like “As It Was” can still lose everything, but Harry Styles could end up winning Pop Album instead.

I agree, I don’t think they’ll let Adele win all her nominations. I think Harry could pull out a win in Pop Solo or ROTY for “As It Was”.

While I agree Harry Styles is more in contention than people think, I think people are also underestimating Lizzo.

It looks like Taylor Swift’s new album midnight will be released after the deadline so it won’t be eligible until 2024

AIW is probably second behind EOM in ROTY/SOTY/BPSP. I still wouldn’t bet against Adele. Voters love her.

Honey, Adele could easily go 7/7.  She does NOT have any competition.  However, Adele is only getting 5-6 nominations.

I don’t really see AIW pulling a win over Adele in any song category. Especially not BPSP. Adele has never lost this category and back in the day, she won with “Chasing Pavements” over much bigger hits. I really don’t think we can ascertain Harry has the pull to do this with a single BPSP win. There’s a higher chance of Harry winning BPVA than BPSP if you ask me.

It would have been more likely if EOM was a flop but it’s a monster hit in its own rights.

It’s also worth noting that “Easy” could have gotten 12-13 weeks at #1 had it not been for the Christmas chart domination last year.

Super Freaky Girl on Billboard Hot 100: #7 (-6) 2nd week

This song is not happening in any category.

Lana Del Rey’s Norman F*cking Rockwell! turns 3 today. It’s probably my favourite record of all time. 🥰

AIW is projected to remain at the top of the charts until the end of the year and crossover next year until the Grammys while that EOM song has already been long forgotten. Its VMA win for Best Pop will be repeated in the Grammys. That long forgotten EOM song will not sweep against the biggest and most current song of the year.

Adele always seems unbeatable at the Grammys, but we‘ve never actually seen it “tested”. When she won with Chasing Pavements she still was this new hot thing, that the industry liked, so she beat out more popular songs. Her 21 & 25 sweeps where with commercially undeniable eras & her being literally everywhere. We‘ve basically never seen how she does in an for her less successful era & with other contenders having the commercial advance or at least seem more “relevant” and defining throughout the circle.

Easy on me can easily win win againts the most successful song of the year. Joanne won against Havana and God is a woman. Chasing Pavements won over I Kissed a Girl. A live version of 2-years-old Set Fire to the Rain won over Call Me Maybe, Wide Awake and Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You).

Demi Lovato’s “29” is her best song to date tbh. Beautiful storytelling and the vocals!!! Song of the Year worthy.

What do you mean AIW is projected to remain at the top of the charts until year-end? Like at No1 for about 16 more weeks straight? Which crackhead is predicting that far in the future?
