As It Was” is a good a song but 15 weeks at #1 good? Hmm. I’m happy Steve Lacy is having his moment.

it was #1 for 15 weeks w/ 200 points. probably deadest, most lifeless #1 ever lol

literally, that song doesn’t feel big enough to have spent 15 weeks at #1

If ’30’, the second best-selling album in the eligibility period, is forgettable, we shouldn’t even mention the Silk Sonic album.

Well, single from their album has already won two Big 4 categories and it wouldn’t be a surprise if it won AOTY. Their album is much better to listen to than Adele’s divorce album

There’s a very big chance for the others to win AOTY. 30 along with EOM is already long forgotten and that album sounds similar to her previous albums with very little innovation. Definitely not AOTY material for a third time like Folklore was.

Given how hard adele trashtalked them last time around, and given how forgettable ’30’ was, what are the chances AOTY goes to silk sonic/bad bunny or even Hairy Styles?

This time Adele’s winning is more predictable than in 2017. There is no album that compares to 30 in terms of material quality.

Love him but Bad Bunny has no shot at an AOTY win, if it’s not Adele it’s gonna be Beyoncé, Silk Sonic or Harry most likely.

I feel like everyone here knows 30 is taking it but trying to push other options just to keep the conversation going

quality aside, she’s Adele no one stands a chance, Bey is probably gonna get affected with votes split

He’s the biggest music star in the world right now, his album sold the most worldwide this year iirc, he represents an entire Latino minority community & south/latin american market AND hes gay, so hes a very “cross genre” friendly choice actually, and lets not forget adele herself was badmouthing the grammys for choosing herself instead of beyonce. this is a moment for her to be the change she wants to see.

Who said that this time Adele will refuse the album of the year?

Adele paid respects to Beyoncé (as she should), not badmouth the Grammys.

Well unless you’re not talking about this Link to Adele’s Speech
