If Grammy voters want to pretend that they care about representation and “latinxs”, they should AT LEAST vote for Bad Bunny. No one has cared about Encanto in months. But I know the music industry will kiss Lin-Manuel Miranda’s butt once again. Waaay out of touch with reality. Justice for Un Verano Sin Ti.

I get it. But Encanto also made a big impact. It was a cultural phenomenon & made history in many ways. Between Bad Bunny, Rosalia, & WDTAB, 2022 will go down as a seminal year for Latinos in mainstream Pop.October 6, 2022 at 3:18 pm #1205109279
it is a lie that they didnt know the song would be sampled. They CELEBRATED the sample BEFORE the album release. They are just complaining because the song has 22 writers and they will have to share the money.
22??? jesus…October 6, 2022 at 3:18 pm #1205109283
i just wanna say that Lizzy McAlpine released one of the best albums of 2022 so far called “five seconds flat” and that she deserves at least a BNA nomimation, you all should check “doomsday” and “hate to be lame ft. FINNEAS”October 6, 2022 at 4:09 pm #1205109351
Some of y’all are acting too dense. I thought we already established that she [Beyoncé] has to credit all of the people from the samples she did.October 6, 2022 at 4:50 pm #1205109369
That Oscars performance of WDTAB sums up exactly how Hollywood sees the Encanto movie. They don’t see it as a story set in Colombia. They see it as “a celebration of Latin america :D” as if Mexico, Argentina, Puerto Rico and even Portuguese-speaking Brazil all share cultural aspects with Colombia.
Rewarding the most popular Música Urbana album of all time would be much more monumental and meaningful.October 6, 2022 at 6:46 pm #1205109417
if urban music was really important for the grammy, rappers/r&b singers would have album of the year. kendrick and beyoncé don’t have this award why would bad bunny have it? it’s a question of logic. bad bunny is no better than the black artists in the genre of URBAN that have lost this award over the last years.October 6, 2022 at 7:50 pm #1205109495
Honey, anyone predicting Bad Bunny to win Album of the Year is completely delusional.October 6, 2022 at 9:35 pm #1205109649This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.October 6, 2022 at 10:49 pm #1205109728
Would love to see Bad Bunny win Album of the Year for the meltdowns on here, Twitter, YouTube, and IRL 🙂October 7, 2022 at 7:22 am #1205110088
