If Ice Spice can make a crossover hit, she can be Grammy nominated. I don’t think it’s happening with Munch or Bikini Bottom but i can be wrong.

With 10 slots, Ice Spice can easily get in. We saw how BNA lacked big contenders in 2023. If that streak continues, we’re likely to see a similar group in 2024.

I don’t remember if GloRilla was submitted to BNA, either way it doesn’t matter now because she’s deemed ineligible now because of her current nomination. Keep in mind, she also got a hit with Cardi after the eligibility period so that definitely boosted her chances. FNF did well on R&B/Hip Hop Airplay Charts (basically Radio).
Not buying Ice Spice yet. She seems like a meme, and even without a panel, she seems like a tough call. She needs a “Big Energy”-level hit.

cardi was also a meme and internet personality before she broke through for good, all it’s taking for ice to follow the cardi route is a good label and debut album like cardi’s, she’s young compared to most rap girlies too she has a future 🙂

FNF was a radio hit and she had a Top 10 with Cardi B followed with that. Rap community pretty much supported her “Breakthrough”. Ice Spice hype has not translated to the charts at all . Like what P(ower) Said.. she needs a hit like Big Energy to be more visible and taken seriously as a contender. She does feel like meme at the moment and then months later will fizzle out.

Yeah… I honestly feel like Ice Spice is a meme in a good way because people like her. However, she’s gonna need a Big Energy/F.N.F radio hit to see any sort of rap nomination. I do feel like she’ll get best new artist tho considering the Grammys like to add a female rapper in the mix sometimes, especially if new artists are weak this year.
