Taylor is definitely getting top noms next year. Sza should pull off 2nd or 3rd most noms
sza will probably come out on top. taylor will like get 6-7 noms depending on if they allow snow on the beach into best pop duo, but i think she’ll prob get into the big 3, pop solo and album, and music video. meanwhile sza will probably get big 3, pop solo, the 3 r&b song categories, progressive r&b, music video, and possibly more like melodic rap for low or pop duo for ghost in the machine. i also see doja up there in top noms considering she was #2 last year
March 29, 2023 at 2:55 pm #1205368464I never talked about Kill Bill winning
Where did you get that?! I just said that Anti-Hero is not SotY material.
You said Anti-Hero is one of her worst written songs and is terribly lyrically. That is objectively false. I said Anti-Hero is one of the most critically acclaimed pop songs, which is a fact.
‘… it must be acknowledged that “Anti-Hero” is the best lead single choice for a Taylor Swift album in ages. It’s… deliciously pleasurable to see Swift take aim at herself and the things critics and/or some guy have said… the slight breath held between “that’s me” and “hi” in that chorus (undeniably the album’s strongest hook) epitomizes the way space can be used to make the words to follow more satisfying.’ – Exclaim
‘The verses are full of surprises, and a bit unruly; it’s almost like, after writing circles around her peers for ages, Swift got bored and set herself on absurd little challenges: Quadruple the rhymes in the pre-chorus? Imagine the twisted aftermath of your own murder? All these moments call attention to themselves, leaving a stronger impression of the song’s quirks.’ – Pitchfork
‘Anti-Hero offers a litany of small-hours self-loathing. There’s an appealing confidence about this approach, a sense that Swift no longer feels she has to compete on the same terms as her peers.’ – Guardian
She’s on her best, self-scrutinising storytelling form on the excellent “Anti-Hero”, which lyrically sends zinger after zinger bubbling up through the fuzz of distortion. She unpicks the unwieldiness of her stardom with terrific, surreal imagery. – The Independent
‘A Taylor Swift classic in the making.’ – musicOMH
“Anti-Hero” is the musical and emotional heart of this album. An infectious synthpop beat foregrounds Swift’s confession, “I have this thing where I get older but just never wiser.” She wraps the interplay of self-recrimination and self-loathing within an upbeat tune haunted by those she’s ghosted, depressive thoughts, confessions of narcissism masking as altruism, and fear that her relationships are transactional. As a “monster on a hill”, she gestures at the awkwardness of relationships and the impossibility of blending in as one of America’s biggest cultural figures.’ – PopMatters
‘During the monster bit, she subtly affects a fantasy-European elevation reminiscent of Kate Bush, that genius of extra-human metamorphosis; then Swift switches quickly to a very Yankee drawl about “my covert narcissism/ I disguise as altruism/ like some kind of congressman.” – Slate
‘I think Anti-Hero is one of the best pop songs ever written.’ – Ed Sheeran
DISCLAIMER: This is NOT me doing all this to say it’s going to win any Grammy. I’m getting very sick of users here pushing the narrative that it’s a terribly written song being pretentious AF.
I can pull up more evidence of how much it’s acclaimed and liked by the GP + more relevant artists but I’ll stop here.

sis I suggest you don’t waste your time GD that poster is deranged, delusional and a hater. They aren’t even that funny like Gucci. Let Taylor’s impact, success and record shattering tour speak for itself. Clownderby is just jealous.
Congratulations 12 Time Grammy Winner Taylor Swift!
All Too Well (The Short Film) -BEST MUSIC VIDEO!
March 29, 2023 at 4:28 pm #1205368563Get fucking real! “Anti-Hero” is NOT one of the best written pop songs released in a very long time. A completely delusional statement.
March 29, 2023 at 5:06 pm #1205368588sza will probably come out on top. taylor will like get 6-7 noms depending on if they allow snow on the beach into best pop duo, but i think she’ll prob get into the big 3, pop solo and album, and music video. meanwhile sza will probably get big 3, pop solo, the 3 r&b song categories, progressive r&b, music video, and possibly more like melodic rap for low or pop duo for ghost in the machine. i also see doja up there in top noms considering she was #2 last year
I think for females: Taylor, Sza, Miley, presumably Doja, Cardi and Beyonce with Act II if there music is up to par.
It seems like females are already dominating but a key male or two like Bruno can always upset the apple cart.
March 29, 2023 at 5:51 pm #1205368610Dream on, delusional Swifties! We go through this every damn time Taylor Swift releases an album. She is NOT winning ROTY, AOTY, and SOTY. The delusion must stop.
You’re delusional. Keep crying. Taylor is taking at least one or two GF award next year.

March 29, 2023 at 6:48 pm #1205368643Realistically, I see Taylor taking SOTY. Sza AOTY. ROTY im unsure of

It’s funny how you put words in my mouth that I never said.
I said Anti-Hero is not one of the greatest pop song ever written like Ed Sheeran said. I never said it’s one of the worst song ever, only one of her worst lyrically in my opinion for Taylor.
She didn’t win for You Belong With Me, Blank Space and All Too Well (all better written songs). So even if you show me all these quotes, it’s still not Soty material in my opinion. I don’t care what people think.
You guys make it difficult to love Taylor. I respect her now as an artist but every time someone have opinions on her, you’re always on the defensive and angry.
March 29, 2023 at 6:56 pm #1205368659Taylor is taking at least one or two GF award next year.
It’s too early to say that, IMO. She’s getting in, but she has never won ROTY/SOTY within 10 albums. Would she really win with Anti-Hero? No disrespect towards Taylor, she’s an incredible artist, but she has been nominated for much better and more popular tracks.
the GF winners haven’t released yet i feel like
I agree… And I think we could have an Jon Batiste-like winner for Album of The Year.
March 29, 2023 at 7:48 pm #1205368682I think it’s too early to talk about wins but with 5 months left in eligibility, and given their current critical, comercial and impactful success both Sza And Taylor are shoe ins for across the board nominations. They both have the smash hits and monster albums to carry them to multiple nods.
Congratulations 12 Time Grammy Winner Taylor Swift!
