ATW was a very weak SOTY contender with that Pop Solo miss, alphabet is only reason why it got in. Anti-Hero would be getting a SOTY nomination regardless of its alphabet position.

Shouldn’t be difficult. There’s not a lot of competition in BNA. Rap category does include big hits as a nominee, too.

I see this year as a repeat of last year’s Grammys, wherein the most ubiquitous artist won the AOTY and BPVA for the most commercially successful pop album of the year. Note that Taylor is touring this year (Harry toured as well during his Grammy cycle) and is all over the news with the Ticketmaster controversy. So, Taylor winning AOTY and BPVA for midnights is pretty much locked until someone not yet known unintentionally blows up a la Billie Eilish.
Predicting SOS winning AOTY is like predicting Renaissance winning AOTY. Sure, SZA will win some cute RNB Grammys but she will not win any General Field award.
yes Miley has the biggest hit, but Taylor and SZA are already Grammy winners with both of them having wins in the pop field. Miley couldn’t even get nominated for wrecking ball and that went #1 for 3 weeks. they will not be giving BPSP to Miley and would obviously give it to Taylor then SZA before they gave it to Miley.
The only reason I won’t predict Taylor to win AOTY with the contenders that are already out is because she has won three times already. I really want SZA to win, but I just can’t see it, voters will just vote safe again. I feel like this year we could see another Jon Batiste-like win (which it was actually pretty inspired tbh).

Folklore wouldn’t win but the committee eliminated all her competition. Fiona Apple probably would’ve won. Or The Weeknd.
Hopefully Lana gets an AOTY nomination for Did you know there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd? especially A&W in SOTY. I don’t care if I’m delusional, I’m putting it in my SOTY and AOTY predictions it’s better than NFR imo

I think Lana team is submitting Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd for ROTY and SOTY giving they made the same with NFR! and Blue Banisters but I hope be wrong and she submits A&W, especially seeing how it’s doing with streams and for the alphabetical order in voting.
