A lot of releases are coming in the next 5 months. I hope some big names like Billie and Meg thee stallion opt to release their albums in Q4 even if they release a lead single before the cutoff.

Just heard Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd album and it was so good.
Favorite tracks: A&W, Candy Necklace, Fingertips, Taco Truck, Kintsugi, Title track
Least favorite: Interludes
Rating: 8.2/10 (I would rate it a 9 if it wasn’t for the interludes)
I can see it in AOTY, but miss Best Pop Vocal Album
Just heard Eyes Closed by Ed Sheeran and it was great track. A big improvement over Bad Habits. It’s better than Flowers.

Eyes Closed is very nice. Much butter than Bad Habits and more Grammy friendly. If succesful, could happen in Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Music Video.

And the fact that Aaron Dessner produced it along with Max Martin and Shellback.
As much as I love Lana’s new ‘Ocean Blvd’, I still have some doubts over its Grammy chances. According to album reviews so far, the acclaims are nowhere as near as NFR (although it’s the second-most acclaimed after NFR).
NFR only got SOTY and ATOY noms even with its rave reviews. I really wish to be proved wrong, but Ocean Blvd’s Grammy chances are pretty weak if we look at past statistics.
Lana could have a chance if the ballot is weak as so far. I think Jack Antonoff and Jon Batiste in credits could help her. But she will never be a lock. There’s a big possibility she were picked by the committee in 2020.

I think Lana is trying to get the AOTY nomination. She putting in a lot more effort in her promo this era compare to her previous ones and is already teasing a music video. She knows what she has in her hands
