Get real!  “Candy Necklace” will NOT be the frontrunner in Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.  Pure delusion.

Lana’s best bet for anything at all is “A&W” and she’d be on crack to not submit that in Alternative Performance. Long gone are the days when the NRC could (rightfully) shove her into AOTY and SOTY.

Lana will continue to have a hard time getting enough votes to get in the general field with the blue ribbon panel gone. Her best bets are in alternative, but she’s on the same track as Florence + The Machine now I think. She’ll get the odd nomination but a win will be hard, as her albums are starting to lose excitement on their release beyond the core fanbase. They have to switch up their style to gain attention again.

More and more rumors about Beyoncé dropping Act II before de tour. It’s supposed to be a futuristic project about black and queer representation in country music.

I think Renaissance act 2 is going to be more country and R&B. If nominated for AOTY, this will be deja vu again because SZA and Beyoncé are going to split R&B votes.

Maybe Beyoncé could get some Americana block votes. I don’t think the country field will support her. The white old republicans do not like revolution in music, crossover artists and debuts. She will 100% be nominated but could lose county categories to people like Tanya Tucker, Shania Twain, Chris Stapleton or Willie Nelson.

Since we’re talking about Lana Del Rey, was the “committee pick that placed #18 in SOTY and stole the slot of ‘thank u, next’ and ‘Beautiful People’ ” ‘Norman fucking Rockwell!’ or ‘Someone You Loved’? I 100% think it’s NFR.

Beyoncé is never winning AOTY. Not falling for that again.

Lana in 2020 was 100% committee pick just to calm down Twitter. The same reason why they extended the amount of nominees for Taylor in 2022.

“White old Republicans” don’t vote at the Grammys. Otherwise, Toby Keith wouldn’t be have 0 Grammys in 7 nominations and The Chicks wouldn’t have 13 wins in 22 nods. And Kacey Musgraves wouldn’t be so beloved even when she leans towards country pop.

We have enough evidence that Country and American Roots voters are mostly left-leaning. Most of the yeehaw nominees are democrats, whether they’re actual leftists or just establishment dems.

In fact, for example, longtime Americana darling Bonnie Raitt is probably more of a leftist than 90% of the hungry capitalist popstars that are often hyped up here.

The reason why Beyoncé won’t be supported is because she would be an outsider. When an artist is “too famous with Pop listeners for the Country field”, the screening committee tends to reject them. It’s what happened to Kacey with star-crossed and I would guess happened to Taylor Swift with WANEGBT.

It wasn’t easy for her to be accepted into the Dance field. This should be an even bigger challenge. She’ll likely just be placed in the Pop field, like all of the “back to my roots” A-list country-pop projects of the late 2010s.

And with Lana Del Rey and an underwhelming album by previous BPVA winner Taylor Swift respectively being the frontrunners in terms of quality and success, I think Bey could finally pull her first BPVA win with the act ii.

Even if Beyoncé releases act II and receives 99 on metacritic im not predicting her in aoty ever again..im done predicting her albums since she lost to Harry Styles..the truth is that she will never win. The only thing I might do it is to predict her being nominated which happens everytime

Honey, the delusion of it all!  You all will predict Beyoncé to win Album of the Year for Act II like y’all always fucking do.
