By the time Justin got his 3rd nom in pop I was pinching myself, is this a parallel universe ?
November 25, 2020 at 7:47 am #1203871703no one is gonna care if Taylor wins over Jhene and Black Puma lmao.
it’s pathetic how they specifically selected a bad mainstream album and an album by two BRP faves which was only eligible this year thanks to fraud and had the nerve to call it

FYC:
Record of the Year: Hit Different by SZA ft. Pharrell Williams & co.
Song of the Year: Good Days by SZA ft. Jacob CollierNovember 25, 2020 at 7:48 am #1203871705Yummy is the worst song of all time I’m not even joking
Don’t talk about a Grammy-nominated song like that. The music industry declared that Yummy is a better song than Blinding Lights and Circles. And as they said they listen carefully and really reward quality over charts.
November 25, 2020 at 7:48 am #1203871707three scenarios
Folklore winning.. which will be ok, no surprise
Dua winning.. can you imagine? I’d love that
Jhene winning which would be random
November 25, 2020 at 7:48 am #1203871709Even if Yummy got 20 votes, it’s weird that Blinding Lights somehow couldn’t get 21
November 25, 2020 at 7:48 am #1203871711I can understand a random pop nom, but 3/3 Justin seems the voters did voted for the Changes album and its two singles.
November 25, 2020 at 7:50 am #1203871717I guess it’s true that almost nobody votes for nominations. It’s way harder to pick 5 nominees out of 100+ candidates then to just vote for your fave song. The nominations results probably won’t have a lot to do with winners.
November 25, 2020 at 7:50 am #1203871719I can understand a random pop nom, but 3/3 Justin seems the voters did voted for the Changes album and its two singles.
Scooter Braun $$$$$$
November 25, 2020 at 7:50 am #1203871722As I look at the AOTY nominees, the only true WTF noms are Jacob Collier and Coldplay. The rest, although I didn’t predict them, make sense to me.
Those two slots could’ve saved them so much grief, but they clearly don’t care.
November 25, 2020 at 7:51 am #1203871726I have to say, I almost wonder if The Weeknd and his team forgot to vote. It seems like anyone with a big enough team could’ve happened in the pop categories. What a mystery.
November 25, 2020 at 7:53 am #1203871730Jacobs 2nd in AOTY stay woke
No seriously I hadn’t heard of him before noms, but my god is he adored. Lots of industry ppl happy abt the noms. And he’s got noms in all kinds of genres. As well, he’s credited as a writer on Coldplays album, so he could have even helped them out.! The claim in this post is disputed
November 25, 2020 at 7:53 am #1203871734Okay so there isn’t backlash to Taylor’s noms and you are the only one who’s upset about Cardigan in BPSP?
Seriously, are you guys getting paid by Taylor’s team to infest forums and steer conversations away from the main question/point? That’s some very impressive brand management and I want in!
Y’all always miss the point because you see any type of comment that isn’t 100% glowing about her and you attack. I said many times I didn’t think they’d nominate her again because she’d already won twice but that I still saw it as a possibility and I would understand it. My issue isn’t with Taylor being in, it’s with the blatant path-clearing that was done to help her. All I said was y’all should acknowledge that she has the easiest path to her nominations among almost every artist as long as the work is decent and you took it as me saying she didn’t deserve to get nominated. Since folklore is decent and therefore justified in AOTY, the best example this year is cardigan, which just shouldn’t have gotten nominations. Last time it was Lover getting a pop vocal nomination and the time before that it was reputation getting one.
November 25, 2020 at 7:54 am #1203871740I kinda exaggerated when I said 20. If only 20% of those 500 vote in the Pop field, then I lower my prediction to about 5 votes.
and all The Weeknd votes misteriously vanished. that would be the corruption
while the alphabetic order defintely helped Bieber and even Doja & Ms. Eilish, if everyone had just voted for the first thing that popped up on the ballot then Christina Aguilera would’ve appeared lol

Song of the Year: Good Days by SZA ft. Jacob CollierNovember 25, 2020 at 7:54 am #1203871748The Jacobs guy is the first AOTY nominee with an album that didn’t chart on Billboard 200, according to Billboard. He is a Quincy Jones protege, considered a gifted and talented artist, already Grammy winner.
November 25, 2020 at 7:54 am #1203871750At this point, is anyone REALLY reading all this certain person is posting?
