Lol not people acting like if Taylor wouldn’t deserve her win. folklore is an undeniable masterpiece and a better piece of art than damn After Hours. 😆
Congratulations Taylor Swift on 6 Grammy Nominations
Album of the Year: folklore
Song of the Year: cardigan
Pop Solo Performance: cardigan
Pop Duo/Group Performance: exile feat. Bon Iver
Pop Vocal Album: folklore
Song Written for Visual Media: Beautiful GhostsNovember 26, 2020 at 9:08 pm #1203876609She won’t get bad press. Social media hatred sure, but so will anyone who wins.
This is grasping for straws. Literally nobody will care. The general public sure as hell won’t.
lol GMA were straight up happy for her and celebrating that she is so close to tying Fran Sinatra’s record.
Congratulations Taylor Swift on 6 Grammy Nominations

Song Written for Visual Media: Beautiful GhostsNovember 26, 2020 at 9:10 pm #1203876612I mean idk? I hope y’all are right. Folklore is the most deserving album this year.
November 26, 2020 at 9:31 pm #1203876625I think Taylor being a two time winner will help. The next three time winner is Taylor or Adele. folklore has the acclaim and commercial success, and isn’t competing against a Beyoncé or Kendrick for a win to get a lot of backlash. I don’t like to predict the Grammys because it’s pretty impossible to guess correctly, and no precursor awards to give you an idea, but I don’t see how it could be a bad thing. AOTY would be going to one of the most acclaimed, the biggest seller, and an album conceived, created, and released during COVID quarantine. That’s 2020’s AOTY.
November 26, 2020 at 9:35 pm #1203876635So Alanis Morissette got her first nom since 2001? Since “So Pure” was nominated.

This makes a lot of sense. Also, I love this line of reasoning, folklore is truly the album of the YEAR, conceived and created in the middle of a pandemic, like a cozy hug, right when we needed it the most.
November 26, 2020 at 9:37 pm #1203876644The whole long pond sessions special was built around the idea of an album made during quarantine for quarantine. she’s smart. she’s building a campaign around that theme. and she will win.
November 26, 2020 at 9:41 pm #1203876652Grammy really hate RTJ and FKA Twigs huh
For you consideration :
Album of the year : folklore
Record of the year : Don't Start Now
Song of the year : cardigan
Best new artist : Phoebe BridgersBest pop vocal album : folklore
Best rap album : Alfredo
Best alternative music album : Fetch the Bolt Cutters
Best progressive R&B album : Ungodly HourNovember 26, 2020 at 9:43 pm #1203876657RTJ…they were a fever dream that Goldderby had. Also Fetch the Bolt Cutters I guess. We were caught up in the hype and lost sight of everything. From the Goldderby top 4 odds only Taylor and Dua made it. Time to declare the Grammys unpredictable.
November 26, 2020 at 9:46 pm #1203876664Megan or Phoebe should win, but time and time again The Grammys have shown that they would rather reward and up and coming pop star / act over much more deserving artists see:
- Meghan Trainor over James Bay
- Alessia Cara over SZA
- Dua Lipa over H.E.R.
- Fun. over Frank Ocean
Doja Cat is the most likely choice to benefit from that.
of course, there have been exceptions like Bon Iver and Esperanza Spalding, but this trend has been occurring in more recent years.
I could also see Phoebe pulling off a win through vote splitting between Megan, D Smoke, and Doja, but not too sure. I don’t really know if Doja will attract THAT many rap votes, while she has clear pop support.

November 26, 2020 at 9:50 pm #1203876666Yeah, I mean nobody is expecting crowds to gather outside the grammys building or anythin if Taylor wins lmfao?? but she’ll definitely get a couple of weeks of bad press and social media hatred.
And then she’ll write amazing songs about it alla tears ricochet or hoax
“You knew it still hurts underneath my scars, from when they pulled me apart…”
November 26, 2020 at 9:50 pm #1203876668Say So is a great record but is that enough for a BNA win? Megan has way more support, I think. Phoebe is superior when it comes to artistry. The choice is hard.
November 26, 2020 at 9:52 pm #1203876674So Alanis Morissette got her first nom since 2001? Since “So Pure” was nominated.
Nope, unfortunately she didn’t. 51% of the lyrics were not new.

They both share a record nom and a genre performance nom. Megan only has a songwriting nom outside of Doja. And I don’t mean any shade to this, but Beyonce could have been a huge factor in that nomination. Doja is nominated for a solo track.
both Doja and Megan have had several popular songs throughout the year, especially thanks to TikTok. They are close, but Doja could pull off a win by taking pop support.

Dua totally deserved that win
