I have them muted… anyways. Who do you think is going to be the guest next weekend? Also, should Harry release Boyfriends and Late Night Talking as non-singles before the album? I feel like it’s a bit of a waste that people are streaming them from live videos instead of the official version, but this seems exactly the sort of thing Harry doesn’t care about. Also, I am hoping he manages to snatch a SNL double duty before the album release/just after. He always does so well.

He did the same thing with Watermelon Sugar when he debuted it months prior in SNL and it ended up being his biggest/highest charting single ever.

The lyrics to “Late Night Talking” kinda match the pictures of that other mv he was seen shooting, so maybe it’s the next single. It’s also super fun and reminds me of a Silk Sonic song, so I think I could be a good choice.
Can’t wait for Coachella again. I think Stevie Nicks is the obvious choice since she’s his idol but I can see him bringing someone like Lizzo too, they are so fun together.

we tend to focus on the success of an artist on how he does in the US, but it’s amazing to see how successful As it was is wordwide. in germany for example he debuted at nr. 2 (his first top 10 single) and he‘s pretty stable since then. definitely couldn’t be expected , because it’s really hard to chart this high (& stay there) in germany as mostly german (rap) songs occupy the official charts.

In Brazil too. Third biggest international debut on Spotify and is holding very well considering brazilian songs have a preference here. It’s also number 1 on Apple Music, only leaving for a bit when Anitta released her album.

Actually, Watermelon Sugar came out right before Harry’s SNL performance with no prior announcement.

If they have the cds and vinyls ready to ship they could release early. Use the Coachella hype. But even if they don’t, I don’t know if it would make that much of difference. It’s much easier to just wait a bit and stream than download the thing. It sucks though, I remember how sad Dua was when hers leaked.

I think he might release another single alongside the album or a week before, like with “Adore You”. But “As It Was” is still doing so well it will overshadow another song for sure, so maybe he should wait a bit? Or release the week after the album to boost the 2nd week sales.
Can’t wait for the album!
