Starting with the 61st grammys, the AOTY (as well as several other categories that I might make threads for later) field expanded from 5 nominees to 8 nominees. My question is this – with this expansion, what albums would have gotten in that didn’t in this timeline? Would snubbed albums have made it? Would any egregious mistakes have been made?

Dangerously in Love in 2004. It won 5 Grammys & “Crazy In Love” got a ROTY nomination.
