“ASIB” soundtrack is essentially “Joanne” Part 2 (improvIng upon everything that the former wasn’t or didn’t achieve), so I don’t think I need that era to be revisited. On the other hand, it’s the career trajectory that’s made her an Oscar winner. I wonder if her new wave of causal “Star” fans expecting this folksy Gaga will be disappointed when she goes back to her electropop shenanigans that she’s known for and her little Monsters desperately crave for her to return to. If there’s a way to blend the two extremes, that might be the needed evolution of her sound we’re looking for. Can’t wait to see where this album takes us! I hope it’s really titled “Enigma.”March 1, 2019 at 12:12 pm #1202800557

Queen’s Brian May on Gaga:
“The exquisite live performance by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper was for me the greatest art of the whole evening. In a moment when nobody was judging from racial or sexual or gender-preference agendas, and nobody was pushing a political agenda, these two brave performers got up cold from sitting in the audience and BLEW US ALL AWAY. It was a moment for us all to remember what all these award ceremonies were traditionally about – rewarding the ability to engage, to emotionally move – and above all – to entertain us, in the true sense of the word. All Hail Ga Ga/Cooper – a match made in Heaven. Art for Art’s sake is still alive ! This this song so richly deserved its Oscar.”
Queen of being respected by legends!March 1, 2019 at 3:32 pm #1202800723
I agree except for this part…it can be taken out of context easily.
I mean I don’t disagree with him. Awards shows have gotten too political. He’s probably a liberal but he still wants awards shows to be more focused on art rather than politics.
People want to watch these things to take a break from the political mess.March 2, 2019 at 5:48 am #1202801224

Keep dreaming! Lady Gaga will NOT win an Emmy and a Tony.
She could totally win those. The Emmy could be for song/acting/special. The Tony…..I could see her winning for something like Funny Girl or even an original musical if one casts her.March 2, 2019 at 7:13 pm #1202801694

If Gaga does a revival of “Funny Girl” or “Gypsy”, that B**** is getting a Tony nod.
Believe me, you. Gaga has TALENT!March 5, 2019 at 2:49 pm #1202805094
“SHALLOW” is officially # 1 on the Hot 100 and the “A Star is Born” soundtrack is back at # 1 on the Billboard 200. Congrats Gaga!March 5, 2019 at 3:04 pm #1202805114

The Oscars as a whole can be nominated but not a specific performance.
All she needs to do is write a song for a documentary and she’ll win.
Till It Happens To You won an Emmy but unfortunately that was Dianne Warren’s song. Gaga’s contribution didn’t amount to 20%, which is why I’m happy she got her first Oscar for a song that she actually wrote.
So if TIHTY won,she can easily win with any other good song.
