Thank you Beyonce for making me think I was on the verge of a divorce. Anyways, I am impressed 5 years later at the amount of diversity within the track list. It does feel like a Thriller sized moment where so many people came to perfect an album we have never seen the likes of.

    RIP SOPHIE

Honey, Lemonade is a hot ass overrated mess.  PUKE!

    Only good songs:

    “Freedom”
    “Hold Up”
“Love Drought” (best song on this lackluster album)
    “Sandcastles”

Yes, Beyoncé’s masterpiece. Should have won AOTY.

Gucci, the fact you like 4 of the tracks means you don’t really hate it.

Lemonade avoided fillers, diversified the sound while retaining the theme, has rich production and non-banal songwriting, follows a narrative, feels premium, is enjoyable, diversified features, had only 12 tracks, debuted with 653k, sold 321k and 201k in the 2 sequel weeks, scored the most weekly streams by a female at that time from Tidal alone, was the best selling album of 2015 with restricted streams, did not exactly have thirsty marketing even though Formation could have topped Billboard if Columbia wanted, had Beyonce co-produce as she wrote with many songwriters, still feels fresh.

I give a 90%. I would have added 3.33% each for songs ROBUSTLY topping charts in all countries with English speaking majority.

    My trinity:

    1. Love Drought
    2. Formation
    3. Hold Up

I was shocked and devastated when Faith Hill said 25. I really really thought Beyoncé would finally win. You could see he disappointed she was. I blame Columbia! 😡😭

I’m personally not super drawn to Beyoncé, but I love Lemonade. She really elevated herself with that whole album. It’s also the first era where I really enjoyed her fashion and visuals. To put part of her private life on display like that for this album and the controversial Superbowl, it’s not what I expect from Beyoncé and I love that. It’s also the album where her black culture really became at the forefront of everything. And you can tell she also loves how she is right now, because she hasn’t really altered herself or her image much after 2016.

Get real!  Beyoncé did NOT put part of her private life on display.  Someone else wrote lyrics (we all know Bey does NOT write her songs despite slapping her name on writing credits) that the delusional Beyhive misinterpreted as infidelity.

I think most people would rather not publicise their rocky marriage, especially if their young kids could watch, but I don’t care bout the veracity of the storyline. The entire project was interesting.
