Review: BRILLIANT! This is classic Leona Lewis. No horrible dance music. Her voice is big and haunting. “Hurt” is her best vocal performance ever.imo

Really? That “Hurt” performance was kinda rough. You couldn’t make out one word that she sang when she was singing in the low octaves. That was way too low for her. And yeah, she hit a couple solid notes in the high range towards the end, but it still wasn’t fantastic.

Agree, the EP is just stunning, every song is gorgeous and the covers were perfectly selected. I hope she gets her mateiral together for next year, she deserves to be successful, her voice is too good to to waste. Her and Christina just need to deliver, we need them in the industry.

Sometimes I wish Johnny Cash had never done that cover. Now everybody thinks they can do this song. No matter how well she sings, her interpretation is so shallow and empty. It’s a song about self-destruction and constant sorrow, and she doesn’t seem to understand that.
