Even Natalie Cole was not nominated for “Miss You Like Crazy”.

I wonder if Natalie Cole’s Miss You Like Crazy was submitted to Pop which I am thinking it was since the album Good To Be Back was nominated for R&B Female. Natalie Cole, Cher (If I Could Turn Back Time), Donna Summer (This Time I Know It’s For Real), and I would throw in Debbie Gibson’s Lost in Your Eyes would have made decent nominees for Pop Female.

Below were the nominees in 1990:

Bonnie Raitt “Nick of Time”- WINNER
    Paula Abdul — “Straight Up”
Gloria Estefan — “Don’t Wanna Lose You”
Bette Midler — “Wind Beneath My Wings”
Linda Ronstadt — Cry Like a Rainstorm, Howl Like the Wind

Jody was shocking (and her nomination) since she was a previous nominee as a member of Shalamar.

Miss You Like Crazy is hardly an R&B so I think it was submitted in Pop Female Vocal.
