Artist/Project speculated to dominate Grammys, yet being either ignored or winning in just 1-2 categories.

Lol it’s my opinion. Pretty sure people expected Beyoncé to take home more than just 2 awards. Also ppl expected Rihanna to win something .
It’s just weird how Gwen Stefani made it to her genre and also made it to the GF as the Pop Rep and ended up going home empty handed . She lost to Kelly Clarkson which is understandable bc she’s beloved by them. She lost her genre to someone who WASNT in the GF at all.

Kendrick Lamar losing best rap album to Macklemore in 2014 was absolutely disgusting to the point that Macklemore apologized publicly
The Weeknd getting ZERO nominations this year is probably the worse overall snub in the recent decade

December 16, 2020 at 11:49 am #1203925242My fellow Seattlelites deserved their wins! Kendrick is phenomenal but he didn’t have anywhere near the impact Macklemore and Ryan Lewis did. Thrift Shop and Can’t Hold Is were inescapable that year. Come at me!
