Best Music Video is going to Rain on Me and Best K-Pop video is going to Obsession. Both are the best looking videos with the most interesting concepts

1. Evanescence, “Wasted on You” (the Rachel Platten/Leona Lewis-type intro threw me off a bit, but man, does the song pick up!)
2. The Killers, “Caution” (love the new wave sound!)
3. Coldplay, “Orphans” (is this a rock song, though?)
4. blink-182, “Happy Days” (not their worst)
5. Green Day, “Oh Yeah” (meh)
6. Fall Out Boy f/. Wyclef Jean, “Dear Future Self (Hands Up)” (this is so unremarkable compared to the songs/videos they won VMAs for back in the 2000s)I need to watch the videos now, to see if my order changes for the visuals. But let’s be honest, Coldplay, Green Day, and FOB are the only ones who stand a chance, sadly.
Fun fact: Wyclef might have the new record for longest time between nominations at the VMAs (for an artist), since his last noms (and wins) were back in 1998. I have to double-check the archives, but he definitely passed who I believe to be the previous record-holder, Lenny Kravitz (2001-2019).

most probably they made the nominees according to who responded to their save-the-date, which would explain dua and harry’s omission for example
